Death is liberation and celebration. It is a natural conscious digestion process; gift given to every individual soul tormented by the ignorance that they are separated from the whole constantly reminding them anything which separates them including the concepts is impermanent, anything which see, which makes them feel as departed part of the whole is impermanent. To make every individual soul understand that the concept of your individuality is imagination and impermanent, death is given as a natural boon to the whole universe.

Here Mahadeva reads out the science of death for the seekers and for the people who want to cross the death. Death is of 7 types experienced by human beings. First - the man who feels he is nothing more than a body. He experiences oblivion as death. He feels end of his identity is death, end of his individual existence is death, which is obviously false, illusion, delusion, which brings tremendous suffering, and the suffering constantly tortures him and does not let him live even while he is having the body.
Next - the person who is completely centered on desires, he has a greed and cannot understand the possibility for a breakthrough so he continuously extends his greed even after he leaves the body. All the concepts exists in all half-baked philosophies and religious concepts, the concepts of heaven and extended life where the desires are fulfilled, where the continuum of the desires exist, is extended delusion of desire-based individual identity setup.
This is neither completely false nor permanent existence. Based on the ability to project their desires into the existential space they create their own heaven. As long as they are disillusioned they continue to project their heaven and live. When they are disillusioned by their own projection then they get back to their original source and decide the next course of their action based on the imaginations and delusions they retained after the disillusionment. Every disillusionment boils down the extended imaginations to the root delusion. If the root delusions themselves are boiled, burnt away, the imagination completely goes away, you are liberated from the imagination.
If the root delusions are not burnt or boiled you project your root delusions into a different levels of imagination. Usually the desire imagination expansion, when it is disillusioned boils down to the root imagination. It projects again itself in the next root of guilt. The expansion, the imaginary projection of the guilt, is only considered as the lower levels of hell. Again neither the hell is completely truth nor the heaven is a completely truth. And same way neither of them is complete false nor of them is complete reality.
Please understand this great truth Mahadeva repeats for every one of you to grasp inside. The reality you are facing now, what you call as bhooloka; the very less intense projection of your delusion is bhooloka and little higher projection of your extended greed is swarg swarga loka the heaven and guilt is little higher projection of your deluded disturbed mental setup, patterns of root greed in different direction. The guilt is lower level hells where you repent, repent, repent for your sins.
Sin is nothing but retaining the root patterns of desire even after you are disillusioned by the projections of those same roots. When the fruits and the crops disillusion you, still you hang on expecting the different root or crops to come out of the same seed, is guilt. Guilt projects into the next level of hell which is again neither truth nor false. It is again your ability and the intensity to project decides the quality and quantity of the time you need to spend in the hell. Once you are disillusioned even your sufferings are not real. You enter into the root pattern which goes to the deeper root than the ordinary experience of hell. The deeper root is pain; the ultimate hells you experience. In this space again your death decides the quality and the quantity of the sufferings you are continuously going to experience. Understand every levels of death teaches you the great lessons if you are ready to hear. Every life every year practically every day, every one of you go through all the 7 deaths.
The fourth death - death from the pain. Even the pain is also a projected delusion from the root pattern. It does not exist and it cannot co-exist with the existence of the cosmic soul. As the cosmic souls presence is felt every day by your individual soul in the deep sleep and the restful awareness, the pain pattern also faces the death. When the pain patterns faces the death, the experience the individual soul goes through is depression. Depression is not even the existence of pain. When you don’t even project your pain, when you are not even capable of projecting your pain on the reality, the comparative reality, the constant torture you do to yourself with the seed is depression. Seed which cannot grow but continues to exist as a living seed is depression.
The death from the depression is the 6th death called dark night of the soul. Every soul goes through this dark night during the sleep in the form of a unrememberable nightmare every day. Morning when you come out of the nightmare and can’t remember the scenes but only can experience the feeling of the nightmare, it is dark night of the soul. Dark night of the soul is the near-death experience for so many individuals. All the individuals who record the near-death experience as being pulled into the cave and pushed out with a tremendous pain is near-death experience which is nothing but the dark night of the soul in the long term. When the dark night of the soul happens every night it is called nightmare, when the nightmare happens once in a life it is called near-death experience.
Understand the great truths of the death. Even by listening to these great truths again and again and again you are liberated from these great truths. These great truths should be heard by the children before they are spoiled and wronged by the human society with the immatured ideas. These words should be repeated as mantras. So whenever you repeat a word again and again and again, not only the linguistic understanding happens, this forms the phonetic basis of your very thinking. When the great truths forms the phonetic basis for your thinking it is called Living Enlightenment.
So the 7th death, the 7th form of the death which is beyond the Dark night of the soul happens as Nibbana, Nirvana - extinction of the individual deluded identity. The extinction of the individual deluded identity is the ultimate death which is liberation and celebration. What you feel as your identity is your identity centered on the body, then oblivion is the obvious truth about your death. If your individual identity is centered on desire guilt pain, resurrection is the obvious truth about your death. If your individual identity is capable of going through the depression and dark night of the soul, reincarnation is the truth about your death. If your individual identity is prepared while in the body itself to go through even the depression and the dark night of the soul and able to exist without the help of the body and mind, enlightenment liberation and celebration is the truth of your death.
So the death has a four different meanings to the four different levels of people. If you remember yourself constantly as the body, oblivion is the reality for you. If you remember yourself as the extended desire inexhaustible guilt unbearable pain, resurrection will be your expected truth about death. If you are able to enter into the depression and the dark night of the soul, reincarnation is the possibility of your soul about death. If you can stand all these experiences while you are carrying the physical body and able to stand the ability to be without the physical body and mind through the unclutching, enlightenment is the equal word for your death.
Enlightenment, when it enters into your system in the form of death, it is liberation and celebration. So death does not happen to all individuals equally. It is based on the standard of the individual, death happens. Whether oblivion is your truth, resurrection is your truth or reincarnation is your truth or enlightenment is your truth, is your decision. It is the individual capability and individual’s responsibility. When the quality of life increases day by day the quality of death also increases.
A man who feels connected to the truth of oblivion, naturally obviously centered just on body, will not have completion, the complete feeling of life. The people who are in the middle level feel connected to the resurrection truth, the resurrection concept. That is why the mass feels very comfortable with the concept of resurrection. Very evolved individual, very few individuals feel the truth of reality of reincarnation. It is only very few enter into the experience of enlightenment.

The first question is from Jayalakshmi Verma from Washington DC: ‘Nithyanandam! Another birth question for Akashic reading. Its seems like with the sammyamas, we are here to transcend the body - don’t eat or drink, don’t sleep, don’t think about sex, don’t be bothered about heat, cold, pleasant or unpleasant, etc. Why take a body if we are here to transcend it? Thank you.’
Transcending is step for liberation. You took the body out of ignorance and delusion. Now the sammyama is the step to get out of, to go beyond the depression and delusion. So understand samyama is like medication. It is the solution for the problem which you created by feeling that you have the body. You are asking wrong question - ‘why to have disease at all when we can take medicine and get out of the disease’. There is no answer if you ask why to have disease first, then have medicine and get out of the disease. Because you already fell into the disease, medication is given to you; because you already fell into the delusion of having a body the sammyama is given to you as medication.
The next question is from Deanna Bello from Las Vegas, USA: ‘Nithyanandam Swamiji, I have seen 1000s of babies come into the world, as it was my job in the labor and delivery room. Each baby comes into the world in a different way; some so sweet and peaceful and some so unpeaceful and stressful. I often wondered how their entrance into the world affects the rest of their lives, what they become in life and how they react in life. Birth is the most beautiful miracle of life. Is the birth process going to change in the future more peaceful? Are the attitudes of doctors going to change towards more peaceful birth? Deepest gratitude.’
Time, place, way, mood, awareness of your birth directly affects the way you are going to live. So the future humanity should become conscious for the truth birth is the greatest miracle, and possibly the conscious birth centers, the welcoming-mood-filled welcome centers for the human beings should be established. It is unfortunate human beings never understood the importance of the first moment of a being landing on the planet earth. Let conscious beings receive the beings consciously into the planet earth. This is the command of Mahadeva. Mahadeva blesses all the people who are having nayana deeksha now to be healed from all the wounds and sufferings you carry from the moment of the birth. All the wounds and the sufferings, deep patterns you are carrying due to the wrong birthing style, time, place, persons, way, let all that be completely healed in all of you. Lokah samastha sukhino bhavanthu. Let your manipurakas be healed completely. Let the healed manipuraka be filled with a pure kundalini energy.
The next question is from Nitin Geetam: ‘Hari Om Swamiji! How to live a deathless life in this birth? Is it possible? Where is the soul residing in our body? What will be our next birth?
Soul does not reside in your body. It only reflects on your body. The place you choose for your soul to reflect decides the level of awareness in which you are going to be living.
If you choose mooladhara as the place for your soul to reflect, you will be centered only on body and the lust and reproduction. You will not find anything else as bigger experience. Human beings choose usually mooladhara and swadishtana as regular place of reflection. Very few peace lovers make manipuraka as the reflection spot. When you choose anahata as the reflection spot you become a devotee. When you feel and decide vishuddhi as a reflection spot of the cosmic soul into your individual body you become shaakta - an high achiever with a shakti. When you choose your ajna as a reflective place, the place of reflection for your soul, you live with extraordinary powers, as a siddha purusha, the embodiment of Shiva. When you reflect your cosmic soul into your individual body on Sahasrara you live as incarnation, embodiment of the cosmic soul, Mahadeva Himself.
Mahadeva resides and expresses unique pure spiritual dimension in your body. So the body is not possessing the soul. Soul only reflects on the body. When it decides not to reflect anymore, the body is considered as dead. When sahasrara becomes the place of reflection suddenly a new center develops in your system which is responsible for the sahasrara to relate cooperate coordinate with the lower level of existence also. That new center is ananda gandha. So when you experience the reflection on ananda gandha you directly receive the incarnation’s energy radiate the incarnation’s energy. You become part of the incarnation.
As you asked in the question ‘is the life without death is possible, is the deathless life is possible’, Mahadeva very clearly tells you all it is possible. He gives you the science which is most sacred secret - seven instructions. Do not eat anything other than this 3 items - goat milk, groundnut, haritaki - and continuously be doing ajapa japa. Let your breathing be completely guided by the ajapa japa. You can choose any mantra initiated by your enlightened Guru. Ajapa japa, this three food and constantly unclutching; every night getting into the death meditation - death process; visualize, face all the death. Do not allow any samskara uncompleted. Death process is nothing but completion of all the samskaras. When you do death process every night, completion of all the samskaras happen. Understand, every instruction, when they are imbibed and practiced, deathless life is possible.
The first instruction - do not eat anything else other than this three - goat milk, groundnut, haritaki. Second- do ajapa japa, let your breathing be guided continuously by ajapa japa. Third - every night complete all the samskaras and patterns you built by entering into the death process. 4th - continuously whenever you remember unclutch unclutch unclutch; reduce the time of unawareness and restlessness. Practice the presence of restful awareness. Next, remember these great truths about life and let all the cognizance about life be taken based on this one understanding about life and death. Life and death are not two different things. It is just continuous process happening in you as a natural force. Ultimately and finally remember the realization this body is not away, apart from your cosmic soul. It is also an inclusive part of your eternally existing cosmic soul. These 7 truths can directly make you live deathless life. Deathless life is possible.
The next question is from Thyagarajan: ‘Nithyanandam! What should one do to be born in a spiritually conducive atmosphere?’
It is in your hands. This moment you can make your life in such a way, rearrange and reorganize, your life can be in a place which is spiritually conducive. When you can do, why are you expecting some remote roundabout methods to do it after some time? The question you are asking is nothing but the outcome of postponing - lazy mentality.
The next question is from Joyce: ‘How many lives on an average the humans need to experience before they are completely liberated from all physical suffering?’
There is no number. It depends on the intensity of the individual.
The next question is from Ma Manorama from Vancouver: ‘Nithyanandam Swamiji! Beloved Master, how does the invitro fertilization affect the resulting being after birth? Since the conception will happen in a petri-dish, will this affect the future person’s connection to the infinite or the cosmos? Thank you.’
No. This does not affect any way the possibility of the individual’s infinite connection. This process was being followed for ages in the Vedic civilization. The Kauravas have been given birth only through this process. So this process no way affects the individual’s possibility to achieve enlightenment.
The next question is from Ma Aruna: ‘Nithyanandam! Dear Swamiji, kindly throw light on the concept of birth, death and rebirth of souls till they attain liberation. I am thoroughly confused about this imperceivable game of the Lord - his patience, his monitoring system of each soul’s progress till the attainment of the highest in as many janmas it takes. And is the number of janmas one soul takes predetermined?
There is no individual Lord monitoring. Each independent intelligence has innate tendency and the inspiration to grow from life to death, death to life, life to death, death to life till it is completely disillusioned with the original delusion it is separate from the Whole. When the disillusionment it is separate from the Whole itself has disappeared, when the individual soul is disillusioned from this very word it gets back to its restful awareness.
It is not the game played by somebody else and you are pushed into it to play. It is you are playing with yourself by yourself by your individual will. Any moment you can just realize you are the center person of this game, you are the judge of this game, you are the umpire of this game and get out of the game. Nobody is playing it. You are the umpire you are the player you are the audience you are everything. Wake up to this reality and get out of this game. If you want, continue to play this game if you want in the form of incarnation. The person who got out is videhamukta, person who is continuing to play with the clear intelligence he himself is enjoying himself, is living enlightened. Person who enters into others’ game also and makes others realize they are playing the game and they are the embodiment of everything, they are the audience umpire player and everything, is incarnation.
The next question is from Rukmini from Chennai: ‘Nithyanandam! Namaskarams to Swamiji! How does the birth from space to power on women, for instance the birth of Karna, happen? What is the energy source of power that makes it happen?
Space is not empty as you think. The space is more strong thicker existence than your body. Water is thicker existence than the earth, fire is thicker existence than water, air is thicker existence than fire, space is thickest existence than water fire earth and air. Thought is more thicker existence than the space itself. Because they are thicker than the other they are able to consume one other. Because fire is thicker than the water and earth, it can consume both. Because air is thicker than the fire it can consume that, because space is thicker than all other four it can consume other all the four. Thought is more subtle and thicker powerful than all the five. So thought can consume everything. If you can sit and center your thought and concentrate, you will see directly all the five elements can melt and play as you want. So space is not emptiness as you visualize through your bare naked eyes. It can be a channel. That is why the beings like Karna assumed the body using that channel.
The next question is from Jyothi: ‘Dear Swamiji, it is said that people at one time were not born like how they now do, through human parents. Could you please speak on this and whether it can happen again? Thank you.’
Taking birth for human parents is only one form of birth. The possibility exists in multiple level. You can take birth on a stone. The baby can be processed in a animal womb, in the tree, in the stone, on anything. As on now, human beings widely use only few methods, taking birth out of human womb and some other modern methods. But millions of methods existed to take birth.
The next question is from Roshan from San Jose: ‘Dear Kalabhairava, at the time before the part begins to think it is separate from Source, it is same as the Source. Then isn’t it basically the Source separating itself from itself, since the part only comes into existence after separation?’
The moment the thought raises, part is a part. As a truth it never separates and in the normal comparative existence the part appears first, as part only decides to have the thought of separation - Whole does not decide. What decides becomes part. That is why the word ‘part decides to feel as part’ is the right expression in the language in which you understand.
When Kalabhairava Mahadeva reads out the truths he reads out in the language you understand. There are many existential reality based truths can never be read out in the language you understand. So when it, he reads out in the language you understand that is the best form of expressing possible.
The next question is from Sri Nithya Atma Maneeshananda: ‘Dear Kalabhairava, only Source exists. There is nothing other than Source exists. Then what makes the Source to become individual consciousness and why? That is what is the birth. I only existed after that event, prior to this I was not there. I know it is impossible for anything else including I to be other than the Source. Then why I the individual consciousness is persisting? One Source has become individual consciousness. What makes greed, fear, lust, desires to pop up in the individual consciousness? O beloved Mahadeva, please clear these doubts.’
Atma Maneesha already your doubts are cleared. All the answers I gave has clarified your doubt. Mahadeva has already read out the sacred secrets about this question and doubt. Whatever Mahadeva read out, listen to that intensely, this doubts and questions will disappear. Mahadeva has answered this question.
The next question is from Dr. Shanti from Bangalore: ‘Nithyanandam! Beloved Swamiji, saashtanga namaskars at your divine lotus feet. Can you please let us all know why majority women go through so much pain, anxiety and stress during birthing process, though these are most beautiful, cherishing and fulfilling moments in their life. In few fortunate women who practiced meditation, yoga, power of visualization, listening to music and divine chanting, birthing has been a great joyful experience with minimal pain and stress. Can you please clarify?
Human beings have the tendency to go through the pain and suffering even during the expansion. That is why even when the wealth comes to human beings which they were seeking with their whole life, the responsibility brings suffering and pain to them to maintain the wealth. Same way when expansion of life happens in the form of birthing, giving birth to a child, the responsibility body is not able to take, that is why it goes through pain suffering and torture. Otherwise the birthing experience is a spiritual experience. The great possibility of expansion happens to a individual when it expands into another one life.
The moment of birthing can be used for the enlightenment of both individuals, who is giving birth and who is getting birth. So every moment the child takes birth, the child has a possibility for enlightenment, mother has a possibility for enlightenment. If both of them take the responsibility both can get enlightened. Even if the child is not capable of taking the responsibility, mother can take the responsibility and she can get enlightened. Birthing is great possibility of enlightenment as it is extension, an expansion process of individual body and consciousness.
When the birthing happens if the child is kept without the umbilical cord being cut for at least few minutes then the mother can experience two souls. The moment child comes out, the individual soul enters. The mother has one individual soul, the child has another one individual soul. The umbilical cord connection exists between two soul. Mother taking up the responsibility of birthing and preparing her consciousness for 9 month and while giving the en birth she can achieve enlightenment, and after the birthing happens without cutting the umbilical cord if you remain, keep the child as it is, the individual soul which enters the child’s body will have the initiation from the enlightened mother through the umbilical cord which is the most powerful connection. The umbilical cord initiation directly makes the child experience enlightenment and enlightened bio-memory basis forms the basic experience of the child. When the enlightened bio-memory forms the basis of a child naturally child will grow as jeevanmukta, living enlightened.
The next question is from Induja and Sinduja from Chennai: ‘Nithyanandam Swamiji! Can you please tell us about twins’ birth? Why two souls are born together? Is there any specific reason for it? And do the souls have the same purpose in life?
There is no such thing as two souls born together. Only two bodies are created together and the possibility for the two souls enter is created. Otherwise the twins, even if they are born physically connected, has no spiritual connection. Even if the connection felt by few twins, is psychological.
The next question is from Bodhana: ‘Nithyanandam dear Kalabhairava, does the body need to be left undisturbed for a period of time after death? If so, how long? In the Tibetan Book of Dead it sounds as if some souls take a while to move on. If we wish the highest possible evolution for the soul, can body organs and the body be given over immediately to science upon the verdict of brain-dead, or should the body be left undisturbed for a period of time?’
If the body is left undisturbed the remaining karmas will be transferred to the new body in next 13 days. But if you give the organs part of the body to any research or science for any purpose, that does not interfere the karma shifting process. Even if those organs are living in other body or being separated from your body and used for some other purpose, the karma baggage shifting process does not get disturbed. So the organ donation do not interfere any way your death process. The moment brain death is declared the parts of the body can be donated. It does not interfere in the karma baggage transferring process.
When a death happens the individual reflection takes the next body within three kshana. The karma baggage gets transferred in 13 days.
She is also asking, ‘If we have taken NSP, do the practices from the Tibetan Book of Dead need to be invoked? How do we know if someone is enlightened upon death and therefore should be buried and not cremated as – ’
Stop. The conscious experience which you receive from the program NSP by Nithyananda gives you a complete possibility of innate intelligence which awakens by itself through the experience of death. So what you understand by the Tibetan book of Dead need not be invoked, as this process in a complete comprehensive conscious way is already inserted, programmed in your system, by the conscious experience in the NSP. Next question.
‘How do we know if someone is enlightened upon death and therefore should be buried and not cremated as Kalabhairava stated on Akashic Readings?’
Both eyeballs will naturally move towards the third eye. If the both eyeballs have moved towards the third eye and they are centered towards the third eye he is enlightened being. And face does not carry any visible stress, again he is an enlightened being and the throat will not become stiff. If you put your finger on the throat you can feel still it is alive, he is living. An enlightened being’s throat does not become stiff frozen cold or like wood even after he leaves the body. So these few symptoms will make you understand this person whether he became enlightened before leaving the body. This can be used as a scale to decide whether the body should be buried or cremated.
The next question is from Srikant Gopi: ‘Dear Kalabhairava, how can we grow younger each year? How can we achieve eternity physically and merge with light while in physical body?’
I will give you the science used by Thirugnanasambandhar and the great saint like Vallalar and Sant Gnaneshwar. Every night complete all the engrams you built. All the samskaras you built should be completed by going through the death process every night before falling asleep. Every night if you go through the death process and complete and fall asleep there will not be any remaining engrams samskaras which is responsible for getting old. The time will not act on you. The bridge through which time acts on you, time enters into your consciousness is samskaras. Engrams is the bridge through which time enters you. If you break the bridge time will not be able to enter in your inner space. You will be free from time. The person who is free from time grows younger, younger, younger, due to his experience to live untouched by time and samskaras. This is the only and best way to grow younger and disappear into the pure light consciousness, the cosmic soul, without leaving the remains of the physical body.
He is also asking, ‘Is it possible to achieve this siddhi through the 2012 transition? I would like to transcend death and live for another 200 years. Please advise.’
It is possible. Through this technique you don’t even need to worry about this 2012. Do it and have it.
The next question is from Anne-Marie Casou: ‘Swamiji said at satsang that after 65, body and mind were useless. Then what is the use of living longer? Why doesn’t life end there?’
The bodies and minds unused, unprepared, will not be useful after 65. If you prepare it from the young age, use properly, it will continue to be useful. You never reach the state of 65.
She is also saying, ‘I am over 65 and I feel quite alive and enthusiastic. It is very hard for me to accept as my greatest fear is being unwanted. Is seva useless after 65, no matter how many hours and how much pleasure and enthusiasm is fed into it? Is our life purpose over whether accomplished or not?

The next question is from Vidya Ramasamy from Singapore: ‘Nithyanandam dear Swamiji, what is the role of doctors in disease and death?’
Doctors are also groping in unconsciousness. So when the unconsciousness is playing with unconsciousness nobody has a clear role in disease or death.
‘In the process of making a decision on withdrawal of medical care for a child, is it right to say that the child makes conscious decision to get liberated and merge with the cosmic consciousness and therefore attracts that kind of supportive energy from parents and doctors?’
No. Never the possible supports available should be withdrawn from any soul. Mahadeva does not approve the compassion killing, mercy killing or any form of withdrawal of the support. Every individual body should be given all possible support till the end, even though you may perceive this as a suffering, pain or torture. No mercy killing is accepted in cosmic law. All the people who are involved in mercy killing will be treated as murderers by the cosmic law and the individual soul which was killed by the mercy killing will be treated as a suicide or murder. If the individual gives the consent he will be treated as a suicide, if he does not give the consent it will be treated as murder in the cosmic law.

Death is not end or extinction, extinction of existence. It is just climate change on your body and mind. Whenever many deaths of mind happens in same body, it is spiritual evolution. If many bodies die in the same mind, it is unconsciousness, spiritual endarkenment. If more minds die in same body you are spiritually growing, evolving. If more bodies die in same mind you are spiritually going down, destroying yourself. Again and again and again bodies die, minds die. Blessed are those in whom many minds die in one body. Continuously allow minds to be dying. Let your mind, even if you think in a best space, allow it to die, allow it for transformation. Allowing the mind to die every time in the same body leads you to the highest liberation and celebration.
The concept of money, possession, ownership, is the side effect of inability to accept the death of the body. The feeling of ‘your son is your extension’ is also the inability to accept the extinction of body. When you are ready to accept the extinction of the body, the part of you which does not die goes through a powerful transformation, and liberates itself from the dying component of you, which is the body. Through this way it achieves a space where there is no extinction where there is no death.
Death is the most powerful mechanism, either to get enlightened or to get yourself drowned in deeper and deeper unconsciousness. Every day when you fall asleep it is equivalent to death, when you wake up it is equivalent to birth. From the deep sleep if you come to the dreaming state it is unconscious birth. From the deep sleep if you come directly to the waking state it is conscious birth. Every day you go through birth and death. How you behave with this birth and death which is happening everyday is going to decide how you are going to behave with the birth and death which is going to happen with your body, because everyday birth and death is nothing but the direct glimpse of the long big birth and big death, which is only has a difference in time, but not in space or the place. Your everyday birth and death and every-life birth and death happens in same space and place. Only time difference between one birth and the other birth, the time difference between birth-death of one and the birth-death of the other is different.
There are some files which is not able to completely be revealed just by verbalization. Even after reading, verbalization, still those files remain having some material without being completely revealed. Those stuff, those material, can be transmitted only by initiation. Because those akashic records cannot get into the realm of verbalization, they are not able to be translated into words. They just continue to remain as vibrations.
When your mind dies in the same body and becomes a new mind, cosmos enters into you. When your body dies in the same mind, takes a new body, you enter into the cosmos. When cosmos enters you it is liberation, when you enter into the cosmos it is death. The part feels as part, the moment it wants to be part; part only should be blamed not the Whole, because part only continues to hold on to the thought to be part. Whole is not holding on to the thought. Even though the thought might have happened on the Whole also, only when you hold on to the thought you remain as part. So the feeling of separation, who created, why created, is not the really focus of your vengeance or action. Your focus should be on who is holding on to that feeling of separation, not who created, why it got created. Who holds on to it, gives life to it. The feeling of separation, because the part only is holding on to it, it is giving life to it. So your action and intensity to act upon should be directed to the center who is holding on to that feeling that you are separate from the Whole, you are part not the Whole.
Questions and Answers
The first question is from Janani. She is asking, ‘Dear Swamiji, if one has taken an unconscious birth, how can he take a conscious death?’
That is what is life. Life gives you the possibility to move from Unconsciousness to Consciousness and Consciousness to Superconsciousness. If you take unconscious birth you can move to conscious death. If you have taken conscious birth you can move towards superconscious death which is enlightenment itself, and even if you take unconscious birth you can directly jump into superconscious death also, and same way even if you have taken conscious birth you can get back to Unconscious death if you decide strongly.
Usually the conscious birth being does not want to get in, will not get in to the Unconscious; but life gives you the possibility of everything. All possibilities are given to you, are provided to you. So understand the possibility exists in life, that is why it is called life. Every time when you are living, the possibility for all the dimensions are open to you, available to you and waiting for you.
The next question is from Mary Bernard: ‘Nithyanandam Swamiji! You have already spoken on the destructiveness of suicide. Some states and countries allow patients who are suffering with terminal illness to practice assisted death. It is strictly regulated. Usually the family gathers around the patient and some kind of painless lethal injection is given as per the patient’s wishes and instruction. Could you comment on this?’
Cosmos does not agree this mercy killing. As Mahadeva already read out, it will be considered either suicide or murder. If the patient agrees it will be considered as suicide, the patient does not agree it will be considered as murder. But all the people who help and make this happen will be treated for murder in the cosmic law.
The next question is from Sudarshini Madan: ‘Dear Swamiji, why there is so much of fear of death? How did the relationships emerge to be an important thing in our life?’
Anything you don’t understand, don’t want to understand, does not have the brain capacity to understand, fear surrounds it. Unknown is always fear for any living being. Now understand, Mahadeva himself the source of the creation, the source of the existence, source of the eternity is revealing these great truths. Again and again and again listen to these great truths, chant these great truths. This will liberate you from the fear. When your cognizance is based on these great truths, cosmic secrets, you will be free from the fear.
The fear is nothing but the projection of negativity on the future possibility. It is not necessary you need to continuously project negativity or positivity on the future possibility. Simply seeing the future possibility without projecting negativity or positivity on to it, is living prarabdha. So the fear comes into your system only when you project your fear, your negativity, on the future possibilities. Negativities, the negative ideas, does not need to be projected on the future possibility.
Relationships gives you the feeling it is very important in the life, because through every relationship you try to have extended life. While you are living, whatever your body and mind cannot do for your interest and pleasure, you try to fulfill through the body and minds of your relationships, and same way, whatever they cannot fulfill through their body and mind, they are trying to fulfill through your body and mind. So mutually each other helping to fulfill the other’s interest through body and mind of each other’s is relationships. If both of you understand the interests of each other and ready to support each other’s fulfillment, it is called successful relationship. There comes love compassion sacrifice and spiritual growth. But if both of them are not understanding the real agendas of others, interests of others, continue the relationship maybe because one person is has hidden interest, hidden agendas which he does not want to reveal it to the other or which he himself is not aware, when this kind of situations arise relationship breaks or relationships continue to exist with being exploited, with exploitation.
These kind of relationships lead to the worst grave sin of keeping the other person as slave. Whenever the slavery happens cosmos strongly condemns it. So no slavery is allowed in the cosmos. Cosmos is strictly against slavery because In slavery even if the other person has their body and mind, it is equivalent to they are killed, they are murdered, because that body and mind is not useful to that person anymore. So relationship with a open mutual interest should be encouraged, and it supports both the beings to evolve towards the fulfillment, and finally the understanding - how many bodies and minds you may use to fulfill your interest, that your interests are not going to lead you to your restful awareness. So that understanding may help you to renounce all the interests and even your own body and mind and settle down in restful awareness. So this understanding will naturally be leading you towards enlightenment.
Going smoothly towards that understanding will be happening through the right understanding relationships. The relationships with the mood of exploiting other person, with the hidden agenda without you revealing it to the other person about your interest or you yourself may not knowing it by yourself, will lead to more and more destruction depression. If the relationships continues it will be the sin of slavery, if it breaks it will be giving you great devoid depression feeling of emptiness. So the science of relationship is trying to have more body and minds to fulfill your interests and trying to give the other person also your body and mind to fulfill his interest. As long as it is mutual it is with a deep understanding it should be encouraged supported and blessed.
Relationships with deep understanding with each other is equivalent to the conscious birth. Relationships without mutual understanding but still not broken is equivalent to unconscious life. Relationships without mutual understanding broken is equivalent to death. All unconscious life will be afraid of death and end in death. Same way all relationships which doesnot have mutual understanding will constantly have fear of being broken. Finally it will break and bring tremendous suffering to both the persons who are involved in it.
The next question is from Mary Bernard: ‘Swamiji has said that departed souls take rebirth very shortly after death. Many mediums can see or talk to the deceased many years following a person’s death. The departed person can give information to the living that the living would have no way of knowing, or ghosts are seen generations after the death of that person. Does the soul somehow split, part of it moving on and part of it remaining as a part of the personality of the departed?’
Only souls which are murdered or committed suicide remains without taking another body till their natural time of their death. For example if somebody has to live for 60 years, he commits suicide or get killed gets killed at the age of 20, the remaining number of years he remains with taking the other body. Other than that nobody, no soul, remains without taking another one body. Sometime because of your deep imagination, you yourself project their souls out of your imagination and talk to them. Your unconsciousness supports and acts as that soul. It is the informations from your own unconsciousness, not from that soul. That soul has gone, disappeared once for all and carrying on with his life. You may be projecting it out of your unconscious informations while your unconscious supports the projection and the whole reading, talking, all the incidents related to it. It is like you using your own hand, caressing you or beating yourself. It is your own extension.
The next question is from Thyagarajan: ‘Dear Swamiji, what should one do to leave the body without pain and in graceful way?’
Every night when you fall asleep, again and again and again, do death process meditation, nirbhaya dhyana. So when you do the nirbhaya dhyana, facing all the fears, death process, it will clear your inner space. Naturally you will enter into painless death and deathless space.
The next question is from Rani from Bangalore: ‘Why does the consciousness keep moving from one body to another, as with its next birth it forgets its prarabdha, and has to waste more time knowing it or not knowing it at all? It does not even realize that it is choosing to move away from the Source. How does the Source support it at the time of death?’
As Mahadeva revealed, Source neither supports nor disturbs. It is the part which continues to keep the idea it is separate, alive, by its own existence. Source feels compassionate towards the suffering of the part and tries to remind the part in the form of Guru, but unfortunately if the part is too attached to the idea it is a part, it not only does not want to listen to the Source when it comes in the form of the Guru, and blames the Guru is lying about the reality.
The next question is from Dr. Sita from Chennai: ‘Dear Swamiji, how does one understand death to be a continuity? Does one take the new journey of birth from the place where he lived in terms of a spiritual level?’
There is no new journey - spiritual economical social educational; in all the levels of Saraswatya, Lakshmitva and Durgatva, the Kalitva, in all levels the soul starts where it stopped in the time of death. So there is not even a stopping and starting. It is just letting the new body to mature. Till the new body grows and matures, the soul rests. The moment the new body grows and matures it starts expressing its journeys, qualities, the way you live or leave the wealth, education and mental setup.
The next question is from Uma Sundar from Chennai: ‘Swamiji, it is said that when you live fully in the moment throughout your life, death when it comes is but another event gracefully accepted. What is living in the moment according to Kalabhairava?’
Living in the moment means enjoying the totality of past present future. Living in the moment is not excluding the past and future. It is including, enjoying the impact of the past into the present and enjoying the possibilities of the future into the present. It is not that always past pushes you into the present. It is future pulls you into the present. That is why before even the happening happens you are in the mood which is going to happen. So it is future’s influence which is more on your present than the past influence. Past directly influences the future and through the future indirectly influences the present. Accepting all the 3 influences on the present and enjoying present is the base material of time.
Past is the ghost, future is the projection of the ghost. Ghost and the projection of the ghost, both of them are projected on the material called present. That is present moment. Accepting the ghost of the past and projection of the ghost of the future, projection of the ghost of the past, which is future, in the present, including the material called present out of which all the three are living, are enjoying, accepting all the three’s influence over the present moment is living in the present moment. The great acceptance will make you live the present moment and experience restful awareness.
The next question is from Devaki from Hyderabad. She is asking, ‘Dear Swamiji, what are the practices which can help the consciousness to leave the mortal body at will?’
Continuously if you watch your breath and know how the breath goes inside the body and mixes into your blood, spreads all over the body through your nervous system as energy which is strengthens the existence and reflection of life in your body, you will know when to stop the life supporting the individual life in your body; the prana supporting the reflection and life in your body.
The next question is from Suma from Hyderabad. She is asking, ‘What is conscious death or graceful exit, and what is the exact lifestyle one needs to live in his lifetime to have a conscious death?’
Graceful exit means without any pain without any resentment leaving the body with a deep fulfillment, and deciding further whether to create another one body or once for all get enlightened and be liberated from the body and minds. The graceful exit naturally does not have any hangover and gives you the complete choice and possibility of next body or enlightenment. If you decide to assume the next body you are Incarnation, if you decide to be in the space of enlightenment you are God. So both choices are between you, within you. Both are made available for you. The lifestyle you need to live for the graceful exit is learn gracefully to exit in your life any moment which brings anything to you, whether you perceive that as good or bad, know how to gracefully exit without any hangover; move gracefully ahead of everything. Gracefully moving ahead, whether it is pain or pleasure, joy or life or death; whatever it is, move gracefully ahead.

Death is Guru and god, not oblivion as perceived by body centered individuals. Death is a boiling process. Whenever your engrams, desires, fear, greed,everything is boiled in the high energy,there is a possibility your desires can become reality, your fears can be conquered. You can be free from both desire and fear if you are ready courageous enough to face the process with consciousness. Understand, during the death your desires come in front of you just to make you understand the disillusionment which can be caused by their presence.Fears come in front of you make you understand they cannot frighten you anymore. But if you do not have the awareness to look into them you get deluded by them.Even while they come to reveal the truths about them, it is like mistaking a friend to be a enemy, and before even the friend expresses his friendliness, you thinking he is enemy and dealing him with a different attitude.
So when the desires and fears come in front of you during the moment of death, have patience and restful awareness to look into them.They are coming in front of you just to tell you their disillusionment and their ability that they can’t frighten you anymore. By not looking at them with a deep restful awareness, those desires are given a wrong extension of life by your unaware unconscious mind. When the desires are given a wrong extension of life, what you experience is heaven. When the fears are given the wrong extension of life,what you experience is hell. With restful awareness when you deal both of them what you experience is liberation.
Death can be a great Guru to liberate you and god to give you the ultimate. Having restful awareness in every moments of your life during the great attacks of fear and greed while you are in the body is the best way to prepare for the death, and ability to handle your fears and greeds which you may encounter while you leave the body. Moment of the leaving the body is of great importance. That moment will decide the way you are going to continue your further journey.
So prepare yourself with restful awareness,continuously being a jeevanmukta, practicing living enlightenment, being established in restful awareness, during all the chaos or the tsunamis of fear and greed attacks in your life.While you are in the body in unconscious way without having awareness, perception on death before dying or during dying can bring tremendous suffering and can bring a big damage to the conscious evolution process which is termed as nivritti in the upanishadic records. So understand moving consciously into the death process liberates you from the fear and greed. Every moment in your life when you go through the fear or greed, the small dimension of death is perceived and experienced by your restless consciousness. Bring restfulawareness; you will have complete depth in handling the fear and greed with restful awareness, so it can liberate you.
As these truths are apourushya and saarvabhoumya,not dependent on any individual, including the body through which it is read out, and saarvabhoumya - universal, anybody who internalizes this truth,aligns their conscious process of cognizance based on these truths, will be liberated and will celebrate their very existence by the grace of the KalabhairavaMahaakaala, the Cosmos itself.
Questions and Answers
The first question today is from Ma Nithya Priyatmananda, who is asking,‘Dear Kalabhairava, what are the steps of the death meditation that we need to do every night? Kindly explain.’
Every fear you accumulate, every fear makes you feel agitated, every fear which you donot want to think, remember, go through, go into all those fears consciously,neither deciding to save yourself from that fear nor having greed to achieve what you are afraid of. So without having the greed or fear, enter into the fear. Naturally the fear will lose its quality of fear when you donot carry fear or greed for the fear. Greed has its quality of greed because your greed for greed and fear about the greed. Same way the fear has the quality of fear because your fear for the fear and indirect greed towards the fear.
So when your fears are approached with fearlessness and greedlessness, the straightening out of your consciousness everyday happens. The change of consciousness from jagrat to swapna,swapna to sushupti, the waking state to dream state and dream state to the deep sleep state, happens because your awareness is not straightened out. Either the bumps of the fear or bumps of the greedresponsible for your consciousness jumping from waking state to dream state or dream state to deep sleep state. If you remove all the bumps of the fear before falling asleep you will not fall asleep, you will fall into something called restful awareness which is recorded by the word turiya by the earlier mantra drashtas. So the word turiyadenotes the state of falling into the restful awareness without the bumps of fear or greed. Every night remove all the bumps you created during your daytime through fear or greed. Continuous practice of removing all the bumps of fear and greed by facing them will help you to fall into the state of turiya. This is what Mahadeva calls as death process – nirbhaya dhyana.
The next question is from Sri Nithya Atmamaneeshananda. He is asking,‘Lord Mahadeva, my pranams. It is said you have given boon that anybody dies in Kashi he gets liberated. For this reason many people live in Kashi and wait for death to happen. What is the truth? Just physical living in Kashi is enough, or something more was instructed by you to do in addition to physical living?’
As Mahadeva it is my own words - people who live and leave their body in Varanasi get liberated. Along with living and leaving there was some spiritual preparations prescribed like doing ajapajapa and constantly being aware of the 3rd eye - ajna chakra. The whole air and the atmosphere was filled with this divine instructions and the spiritual practices, and maintained by myself as Kalabhairava. Still now anybody who is not capable, who is not practicing these practices for the minimum required amount, will be moved out of the Varanasi’s boundary before they leave the body due to some reasons, out of their ignorance or by the natural forces. So anybody who lives and leaves their prana in the Varanasi boundary naturally directly is liberated and achieves enlightenment.
I Kalabhairava still maintain the sanctity of that vow and the place - physical place Varanasi. The sanctity and the vow which I gave it to the place, physically to Varanasi,does not have extinction. It does not have expiry date. As long as the planet earth exists and the physical place Varanasi exists, only the people who are practicing these 2 great truths of ajapajapa and centering themself on the 3rd eye will be able to live and leave their body in Varanasi.The very space and the place is filled with the physical vibration and the presence of me Mahadeva as Kalabhairava.
The place, physical place of Varanasi, is equivalent to the eternal incarnation body - nithyaavatarashareera. How in the incarnation’s body eternally I Mahadeva reside, same way the place, physical place of Varanasi becomes the center of me-Mahadeva’s residence eternally. As Mahadeva-me reside in that very space physically,being centered, anybody who even makes the sankalpa of living and leaving their body in Varanasi or inspired, initiated to live centered on ajapajapa and being centered on the 3rdeye ajna chakra. Anybody who refuses, resists, is naturally moved out of that physical place before they leave the body, before their death. Still Kalabhairava-me directly supervising this physical act of removing the people who are unqualified out of the boundary of Varanasi and bringing the people who are qualified into the physical boundary of Varanasi personally. Still I am over-looking and looking after managing the affairs of Varanasi physically assuming the physical plane control over the whole place.
Anybody comes there with a simple open eyes will see my physical administration in Varanasi. As this questioner himself is shown the physical form of Kalabhairava in the form of a photograph inside the Kalabhairava temple he doesnot need to doubt the existence of Kalabhairava in physical form and administering the Kalabhairava in Varanasi as the physical place. Not just on the spiritual place, in the physical place of Varanasi Kalabhairava-me is running the administration - who should be residing inside the physical boundary and who should be asked made to vacate the physical boundary of Varanasi before they leave the body.
These are some of the sacred centers on the planet earth has a direct connection with the spiritual plane, and the laws of the cosmos is applicable still into the land of these places, the cosmic law, whoever rules and makes decisions of any man-made laws in these sacred centers. How the incarnations’ bodies can never be brought under the man-made laws, those bodies can neither be punished nor be treated under the-man made laws, neither be controlled nor be rewarded under the man-made laws. The bodies of the incarnations function based on the cosmic law can never be rewarded or disrespected, can never be treated or abused by the man-made laws. It stands above the man made laws and continues to radiate its grace beyond any man-made laws and regulations. Same way Varanasi stands beyond the man-made laws. It still functions based on the cosmic law, as Kalabhairava himself is ruling and organizing and running the whole administration even now physically.
The next question is from Suresh Kandaraj, who is asking,‘What happens to the soul of the people who die in accident or get murdered. Is it similar to suicide?’
In accidents if the person is directly involved saying yes to his own death, it will be treated as a suicide, or if he is not directly involved saying yes to that death, it is only the situation and things which are beyond his control are saying yes to his death, it will be considered as murder. During the suicide, the remaining part of the time he has to live without body will be with a deep guilt and pain, but if it is murder he will neither carry the pain nor the guilt.He will be just given a space to rest without any suffering or the torture. He will be just waiting only with the waiting mode without any guilt or suffering. But if it is suicide he will be waiting along with a deep guilt and pain and suffering. Usually the ghosts which disturbs the human beings, rishis,gandharvas,kinnara,kimburudas, are the souls which has committed suicide not murdered. The murdered ones will have tremendous sympathy and helping tendency towards the human beings and kinnarakimburudagandharvagandhara rishis.
So the murdered ones can be of a friendly use for human beings,but the suicide ones as they themself will not be in restful awareness will not be able to help, and anybody who connects with the suicided ones who have committed suicide will be in danger. The people who have committed suicide, those individual souls will only be playing cunning games to impart what they feel as a suffering and torture and pain towards others as their deep frustration and anger towards everything in thelife, and will not be of any use orhelp to human beings. So MahadevaKalabhairava instructs all the mediums who are relating with the departed ones not to contact, relate, try to take any help with the souls which have committed suicide. But you can relate and try to receive the help and friendliness in any form any way which you know available abovesaid to the souls which are murdered.
The next question is from Dr.Sundaresan from Sri Lanka who is asking,‘Dear Kalabhairava,namahShivaya. When does the death happen? Is it when the heart stops or when the respiration stops or when the brain death occurs as per our medical guidelines? How can a doctor help the soul which is leaving the body?’
What you understand as clinical death has nothing to do with the death. When death happens all these symptoms which you asked happens; heart stops brain stops and all the other symptoms which you claim during the clinical death happens. Please understand if all these things are happening one by one by one, when all of them happen, when the last symptom happens, that should be the moment of death as per the normal human understanding. Among these happenings of respiration stopping, heart stopping, brain stopping, which one happens last that should be the moment of death. Even if one is still happening then the death should be not be declared. Still the person should be considered as alive. But even after all these three happens, only if the reflection discontinues to get reflected on anandagandha, the complete death happens. The possibility of returning to that same body becomes impossible. It gets stopped. Till that happens the possibility of returning to the same reflection on the same body still exists.
So what you call as clinical death should be the happening of all the three. Which one happens last that moment should be considered as clinical death. Even if one of them are still functioning the person should not be declared as dead. Even all the three happening is not complete possibility that the soul’s reflection will not be happening on the body again. It is only the humanly impossible to make the soul again reflect on the same body. So human beings can declare that as death. Cosmically only when the reflection of the anandagandha stops happening on the individual body he will be declared as dead, which will happen only after this three physical symptoms happen. Unless this three physical symptom happens the fourth one of the stoppage of the reflection of the anandagandhawill not happen. Sometimes even after this three, the heart stopping respiration stopping brain stopping, anandagandha can continue to reflect on the body for days or sometime months, sometime ages, as in the case of jeevasamadhi siddhas - the siddhas who are living in the body but stopped all the movements and actions of the body voluntarily. But all practical purposes for all human purposes, all human beings can be declared as dead only when all thisthree happens. Even if one is yet to happen you should be waiting and should not declare the person as dead.
Let the vibrations of MahadevaKalabhairava bless all the bodies exist here with his initiation and liberate everybody exists here from death and let all the bodies present here be freed from the death and be liberated from the death. The Kalabhairava and his presence let it radiate many things which cannot be translated as words just as a pure vibration and living silence the vibrant stillness. All the bodies seen by this body be blessed to imbibe the vibration radiated from this body and through this body, which can’t be converted into the understandable words by you all, be radiated and enter as initiation into every one of the bodies present and seen by and through this body. The next question is from Magalee Laurent who is asking,‘Beloved Swamiji, is doing the ritual for the departed being done after death important?’
It is important as the living ones will be tormented by the unconscious memory and the living ones will project their life’s understanding and fear and greed on the departed ones. For the healing of the living ones the rituals for the death is important. Perform as long as you are free from the fear and greed projection of yours on the dead ones. When you are completely free from your fear and greed being projected on the dead ones you can stop performing those rituals.
The next question is from Vishnu from Chennai, who is asking,‘What are all the practices and chants to be done to a person who is terminally ill to help him have a conscious death?’
Kalabhairava: Recite all the akashic records readings done by Kalabhairava, chant all these great verses continuously. That itself will make the individual choose the conscious death. So akashic readings by Kalabhairava using this body of Nithyananda is enough to make the individual decide to have conscious death.
The next question is from J.Sumathi from Chennai who is asking,‘During our lifetime we get chances to reduce our karma. Do we get such chances of reducing karma between death and rebirth? Thank you.’
No.Between death and rebirth, either you are in highly elated mood if you go through the conscious death, you are highly depressed if you go through unconscious death. The extraordinary elation or the extraordinary depression both spaces growth does not happen. Extraordinary elation is considered as heaven. Extraordinary depression is considered as hell. Neither in hell nor in heaven the conscious exhaustion of the karmas is possible. You will not be able to exhaust the karmas neither in hell nor in heaven as the space of the possibility for the mixture of both, possibility of the mixture of the both which is bhooloka, the planet space, is required for your conscious growth. The space and the time between death and rebirth cannot be used for growing consciously. So anything needs to be done for the conscious growth needs to be done between the time of birth and death not between death and rebirth.
The next question is from an ashramite who is asking,‘DearKalabhairava, scientists and researchers say Near-Death-Experience is a change in the brain chemistry and brain function and not a trip to heaven. Is Near-Death-Experience really a change in the brainchemistry?’
Trip to heaven cannot happen without changing the brain chemistry and brain function. Change of brain chemistry and brain function can happen only if the trip to heaven happens. The heaven is physical reality only as much as the world’s physical reality. In ultimate sense neither the world is physical reality nor the heaven is physical reality. Both are nothing but chemical change in brain and change in the brain function. In other way if you consider the physical reality as reality, with that comparative existence, with that comparison you can call going to the heaven, trip to heaven is also a reality. So trip to heaven, trip to planet earth, both are either chemical change in your brain or trip to both the places. So if this is reality that is also a reality.If this is illusion, from the ultimate source that is also an illusion. So trip to the heaven and change in the brain function both are one and the same. Without one the other doesnot happen. So donot underestimate the change in the brain function, chemistry in the brain function, as ordinarily.
The next question is,‘Why do we remember our past when we wake up from sleep, but not when we wake up into a new life after death? Is it because we take a different body after death?’
Even after sleep you do not remember all the past. The amount of the destruction of your body is very less, but how much your body is destroyed that much of your past gets into the karana layer, the causal layer, and you donot remember. In the death the destruction of your body is more. Because of that the non-remembrance of the bio-memory is also more.
The next question is,‘Is it possible to regain the memory of our past lives? Does one need to have a special body and nervous system to withstand such an experience?’
Only the nervous system which is prepared by the yogic practices like unclutching which is freely easily able to handle the present life bio-memories available without getting stressed tensed diseased disturbed will be able to handle the more memories of the past life.

Illusioned, expanded, identity possession is life. Life in a deluded way possesses and the possession itself is felt as its own identity because of illusion. When life feels it possesses the body and lands up in a delusion it is the body, it is life. When it feels it possesses wealth and wealth is part of its identity, it is deluded life. Same way when it feels name and fame, rewards and awards it possesses, and the possession itself becomes part of its identity, it is deluded life. Life goes on getting deluded with so many things, with the concept of possession, and in the deeper delusion the possession itself becomes part of its identity. Death comes as a great celebration and liberation as deluded unnecessary illusion and illusory identities. It’s a great relief whenever part of you, what you think as you, is taken away from you. The truth - which was, it was never, it were never part of you is reminded to you.
Understand when money is taken away from you, when you feel the pain that some part of your identity is dying, it is a lesson to you it was never part of you. It was your possession which has deluded and given you the illusory identity it was part of you. When the name and fame is taken away from you, you are reminded to the truth it was never part of you. It was your possession, but due to delusion you identified that as part of your very identity. Same way, when you are reminded the body on which your multiple identities continue to grow, the brain on which the perception of your multiple identities are experienced by you; when that is taken away from you, the very ground on which your multiple possessions and the possibility of that possessions giving that delusive feeling you are part of those possessions and those possessions are your identity, is taken away from you.
A being should constantly remind itself not to identify with any possession. Not having possessions and not identifying with the possessions is the path of renunciation. Even having the possessions but having the clarity the possessions are not part of your identity is path of grihastha. Whether you take up the path of grihastha through the responsibility and having the wealth and everything or the path of renunciation without having possessions itself, the important truth you need to remember is not letting anything become part of your illusory deluded identity. Whether you have possessions or not does not matter; that should not become part of your identity which is already deluded. When the source gets deluded by identifying itself by the, on the body, body itself is your possession. But, when you identify the possession of your body as your identity, the delusion of the identity begins.
When the delusion of identity starts it leads to multiple identities, like identifying yourself with your wealth, with your name and fame, with all other possessions. Death is a reminder, a powerful Guru to make your being understand all this was never part of you; these were never part of your illusory or deluded understanding. So relax from the illusion of identifying your possessions as your identity. Possessions are possessions. They are not your identity. Identity should be experienced beyond anything you possess. Possessed does not comprise or compete or fulfill or lead the experience of the true identity. Sometimes your own possessions try to compete your identity. The possessions competing your original identity is disease. When your body competes with your original identity, the competition is disease; when your mind competes with your original identity that is depression. When your possessions competes with your original identity - the possessions themself do not have independent life but the life received from the source identity - your possessions start competing with a source identity. That competition is perversion.
So death clearly neatly irons out your inner space. It makes you understand many things which were never part of your identity but you assumed as part of your identity because of your experiencing possession of those things. Anything which does not say no to you continuously, you feels, you feel as possession. Unfortunately because they do not have any will to say no to you, your will possesses it. When your will possesses something it gets into the delusion that is part of you. Remembering things which does not say no to you is not part of you, is unclutching. Remember, things may not say to you, that does not mean that they are part of your very identity. They may be possessed by you. You may have ownership over them but you cannot have identification over them. Including your body you are only a owner. You cannot impose your identification on them.
Reminding this great truth to you as a natural process is death. Death continues to happen multiple times continuously in your life because you carry multiple identities. You just need awareness to perceive, experience, live through all the multiple deaths happening. When you have the awareness, consciousness, experiencing multiple deaths in your life you go through conscious deaths continuously. Going through conscious deaths continuously does a great conscious cleansing in you. Continuously having conscious cleansing is living enlightenment. Once you are completely cleansed in your consciousness and remain pure you are jeevanmukta, you are radiating enlightenment. Understand the truth - death continuously happening in you consciously is just to remind you about your original purity and help you to remain in purity.
Questions and Answers
The 1st question today we have is from Sundar from San Diego Tiruvalluvar center: ‘Dear Kalabhairava, yesterday you explained about the nirbhaya meditation. How do we bring out the subconscious and unconscious fear and greed during the nirbhaya meditation? Thank you.’
When you again and again go through the Nirbhaya Dhyana, naturally in few days your subconscious and unconscious patterns open up. In cosmic law there is no separate subconscious or unconscious. Only the deeper layers on which you are not able to lay your hands immediately, you name them as subconscious or unconscious. Again and again peeling your patterns you reach the subconscious and unconscious. There is no need for separate process other than the simple straightforward Nirbhaya Dhyan.
The next question is from Bharat from Dallas: ‘In yesterday’s satsang, you spoke about bhooloka. What exactly do you mean by saying, bhooloka is a less intense projection, and hell and heaven are little higher-level projection? Does it mean that it is more easy to find that bhooloka is a projection?
The possibility for disillusionment and experiencing the other extremes is more easy in bhooloka. In bhooloka you can extremely experience the pain and the opposite extreme of the pain pleasure very easily without difficulty. But in hell you can never experience pleasure; in heaven you can never experience pain. When the opposite extremes are not experienced the delusion continues to delude you. The disillusionment of anything happens only when the opposite extremes are experienced. When you experience the pleasure, disillusionment of pain happens. When you experience pain, disillusionment of pleasure happens. Both disillusionments finally giving you the realization both are illusion can happen easily only in human body in planet earth in bhooloka.
Because never pain happens in swarga, in heaven, people do not perceive, people do not get disillusioned. In heaven they continue to remain, understand, think, that pleasure is eternal. Because the disillusionment does not happen they do not seek the ultimate reality. Same way in hell because the disillusionment of the pain does not happen even by the moment of a pleasure, they continue to remain feeling the hell is eternal. That is the reason people who are in the hell or in the heaven feel it is eternal.
Only in the bhooloka the truth of ephemeral reality comparative reality is experienced. So anybody wants to experience the existential reality which is beyond ephemeral and comparative reality has to land on bhooloka, and bhooloka is the thinnest layer possible for penetration and going beyond your patterns samskaras engrams. Any space you are made to experience both the extremes again and again will make you reach consciousness. All great masters’ feet will make you experience both extremes continuously. Energy fields are the space where both extremes are perceived, continuously experienced, and the completion of both extremes are made to happen in you so that the disillusionment happens very quickly.
The next question is from Murali: ‘Dear Swamiji, pranams. In yesterday’s satsang you spoke about the waking state and deep sleep states. How can we spend majority of sleep time in deep sleep and what practices will help move from deep sleep directly to waking state? Thank you.’
Nirbhaya Dhyan is more than enough. You can also practice unclutching and ajapa japa while you fall asleep. It will reduce the quality and quantity of the time you spend in dream. Directly you can fall asleep. Even directly falling asleep and coming out of the sleep directly to the waking state may help your physical and mental health but that will no way be helpful for enlightenment. For Enlightenment directly falling into turiya state and coming out of turiya is only going to help.

Death is the illusion as understood by human brain. If you awaken the non-mechanical parts of the human brain it will have the capacity to see the life with a larger understanding. Children do not have even the level of the brain awareness awakened in the adults. That is why every time when they fall asleep and come out of sleep they feel they are dead and came back. They strongly believe whatever has happened in dream has really happened. That is why in the dream if they feel hungry, in the waking state they cry. And whatever has happened in the dream they feel as truth.
The lowest level of brain functioning is responsible for taking your life as bits and pieces without having large vision. Person who thinks every dream is reality, every deep sleep is death and gets broken feels the discontinuity during sleep and waking is unconscious. When the brain grows little more and capable of looking at the life with larger vision, every night sleep does not feel like death. Every day waking up does not feel like birth. They are able to stitch every sleep and waking-ups together and call it as life. This is consciousness. If your non-mechanical parts of the brain is also awakened, kundalini also awakened, you will see lifes and deaths by stitching it together as the large life.
Ability to see the large life and making your decisions based on those understanding is jeevanmukti, living enlightenment. Ability to see the large life different deaths and different births are not discontinuity of your existence; just like births and deaths are continuity, just like sleep and waking up is the continuity of your life, births and deaths are also continuity of your life. The more you see the continuity of the life, more you become intelligent. More you become blissful, more you become alive, more you are enlightened. Awaken the non-mechanical parts of the brain by kundalini awakening or any spiritual process as prescribed by incarnations and enlightened beings. You will realize death and birth is just continuity of the different parts of life; just like sleep and waking and dream is continuity of the same life, birth death and the gap between birth and death are all continuity of the same life. Understanding this takes away all the fear, all the possible fear in your life and gives you tremendous restful awareness - vast time is in front of you to fulfill your life’s purpose and mission.
In the time when the greed is dissolved desire disappears. When there is less time more greed, then enters desire in your brain and mind. When there is vast time, any amount of greed cannot contaminate the time with the pollution called desire. When the time is available in front of you like ocean, no river of greed can change the color of the ocean, pollute the ocean. If the time is available just only in the size of a lake in front of you, even a small greed stream can pollute the lake.
Understand time makes an important decision about the levels of your desire and fear. Man who understands the continuity of life and death, in front whom the vast amount of time is available, who is in the restful awareness with the understanding the vast time is available in front of them, who is not driven by the concept of losing time, is Kalabhairava. When you relax in the restful awareness of the vast time is available in front of you, time becomes your friend. Making time your friend is going beyond time, going beyond death. Then you become Kalabhairava.
Just the simple understanding - just like birth, dream, waking, deep sleep, death, are all different phases of life, sleeping, dreaming, waking up, all three are part of same life if you are conscious. Same way dying, rebirth, the gap between death and rebirth, are all part of same life if you are superconscious. Awaken to this truth - your birth, your death, your gap between birth and death are all part of same life. I Kalabhairava tell you all, you don’t even need any other spiritual practice.
Listen.
Your life, death, rebirth, gap between life and death, birth and rebirth, are all part of your same life. It is not end or restart. This one truth can relax you, put you in restful awareness. You don’t need to hurry about your desires, about your greeds; cosmos is flowing towards you. You are flowing towards the cosmos. You don’t need fast track. The moment you understand you don’t need fast track because you have vast time in front of you, all the knots, thought patterns, samskara knots, the granthis you created in your different energy centers and the thought patterns you created, the thought patterns and samskaras still which you are keeping stiff, straight, gets loosened. The moment thought patterns - samskaras get loosened, they lose their grip over you, you live enlightenment.
O human beings, remember this one truth, Kalabhairava out of my compassion, tremendous love, I am sharing this very sacred secret the basic important truth with you all, O humanity, listen! Your life, your death, the time between life and death, the time between death and rebirth, are all part of same life. Do not be afraid. Nothing, nothing will be taken away from you and you do not need urgency rushing towards any of your goal, greed. You do not need to have fear and escape from any of your fears, anxiety. Neither your greeds not your fears has urgency of time. Relax from the urgency of time. The restful awareness which comes when you relax from the urgency of time makes vast time available in front of you. Anybody who has a vast time available in front of them is Kalabhairava.
Every one of you can become Kalabhairava when you relax from the immediate urgency of time. When your greeds can’t create desire in you, when your fears can’t create anxiety in you, you are free from time. The vast time is available in front of you. With the vast time available in front of you, your greed cannot make you urgent; your fear cannot make you disgraceful. Your fear cannot frighten you; your greed cannot make you desired desireful. O human beings, contemplate on this great truth again and again and again.
The brain which I am using to radiate this truth to all of you is capable of transmitting that very truths to all your brains, as brains do not have individual consciousness. It is just bio-memory chip in human body. I bless you all to receive the truth, to relate with the truth, to be receptive to this truth. It can be transmitted just like that. It can be easily transmitted. It can just be downloaded. Your birth, your death, your rebirth, the time between the birth and death, time between death and rebirth, are all part of same long life. There is no discontinuity in the whole life. Let this one truth sync in all of you to make you understand greed does not create, need to create desire in you.
In the ocean when the river enters it doesn’t create ripples. In the vast time available in front of you by this great truth, even if the greed enters it does not create the ripples of desire. Even if the fear enters it does not create the ripples of anxiety. I bless you all; Kalabhairava puts his footprint on all your brains. Let your bio-memories be awakened to this great truth. Birth and death and rebirth, and time gap between birth and death, death and rebirth are all part of same long life. There is no discontinuity in these happenings. Kalabhairava blesses you all with this great truth. Let this great truth be downloaded in all the brains which are having nayana deeksha; from this brain all over the world. Namah Shivaya.
This is the secret of death through which Markandeya conquered Kalabhairava, Markandeya conquered Yama - the lord of Time. Lord of Time, when He conquers you is Yama, when you conquer Him He is Kalabhairava. When you conquer Him you become Kalabhairava, when He conquers you He is Yama to you. Let this great truth land on all of you.

Let all of you chant the mahamantra Namah Shivaya intensely and loudly. Let this great truth be transmitted in all your brains; the vast Time be available to everybody. Let the bio-memories of all of us be capable of experiencing the large Time.

Questions and Answers
The first question today, saying, ‘Nithyanandam Lord Kalabhairava, it appears that anyone responsible for somebody else’s untimely death is treated as a murderer. In that context please comment on the following three cases – one, people who eat meat; two, animal…
Stop!
Other than Kalabhairava nobody has a right to take any life. People who eat the meat or kill to supply the meat, both are treated as murderers from the cosmic law. Lifes which can feel the pain to the frequency of the human life, are all considered to be equivalent to human life. So anybody kills even those lives will be considered as murderers. Agricultural products can be consumed as plants-trees do not have the life frequency and the pain impact of human frequency. They do have pain, they do have life, but not in the frequency level of human beings. Their pain is much, much, much low and highly negligible. As they do not have the individual consciousness also to reciprocate and respond to the pain, it can’t even be called or considered as pain. So eating meat or killing an animal for meat is directly treated as murder in cosmic law.
Also, animals who eat both meat and vegetarian food or only meat…
Again the same law applies. Animals who eat meat will be treated for murder. Animals who eat only vegetarian food will not incur the karma of murder. Animals which eats only vegetarian food will easily get higher births, higher level of conscious bodies. They are in the cycle of raising themself.
Lastly, those who offer animal sacrifice to deities for certain religious rituals…
Other than Kalabhairava and Mahakali, no deity has a right to receive animal or any life in the form of sacrifice. Only Mahakali and Mahakala, the lord of time has a right to receive any sacrifice from animal to human.
The next question is from Aditya Srinivas, who is asking, ‘Mahadeva, pranams. Why should one experience extreme pain or extreme pleasure to understand the disillusionment of the identity? My gratitude for sharing your wisdom and answering our questions.’
Unless you go through the extremes you do not understand the impermanence, anithyatva, of the realities you perceive. Going through the extremes teaches you the truth of anithyatva, impermanence.
The next question is saying, ‘Poojya Swamiji, you mentioned in an earlier satsang that death is a gift given to every individual soul tormented by the ignorance that they are separated from the Whole and come out of another body. Also, at the time of death, if soul has not forgotten its Source existence and connection, that the soul will separate from the Whole and come out of another body. Then what is meant by ‘soul rest in peace’?’
If the soul remembers its source it will not take another one body. It will rest in peace. If it does not remember its source it goes on taking next body. As long as you take more and more bodies you don’t rest in peace; you are just flowing.
What is the significance for the tradition of shraardham?
It has no significance as far as the dead one is considered. It has significance only for the living ones. The living ones carry certain bio-memories given by the dead ones. Those bio-memories fall into peace, rest into awareness, relax into sattva and shantatva.
Also, is it necessary for a dead person’s family not to perform any homam or archana to God?
No that has nothing to do with this. Both are not connected related in any way.
The next question is from Dr. Sundaresan from Sri Lanka, who is saying, ‘Dear Kalabhairava, as a doctor I would like to treat my patient as per the cosmic law. Please clear my doubts. Is it good to reveal to patients about their death if they are terminally ill as in advanced cancer?’
Yes. Inform them what is going to come and tell them to be prepared. All doctors are expected to do this to their patients by me Kalabhairava. Inform the patients about the death coming even if you suspect. Let them prepare for their last journey. That is one of the biggest help you can do. Do not hide from them.
You also said that listening to your talk on death would be of much help to those who are going to die. What is the alternative to those who cannot understand English?
Translate this into their language and let them repeatedly listen.
The next question is from Ma Nithya Ramya, Singapore, who is saying, Pranams at your lotus feet Swamiji. What is the difference during death if the person has got your darshan once in life but not connected to you now?
Even if the person is not connected now, if he has not broken the connection of the spiritual umbilical cord, during his death the presence of the Master will appear and give choice of getting liberated or continue to have conscious birth to that life, to that soul. If that person has used the mind and body, abused the master, the spiritual umbilical cord gets disconnected. Then he will not be helped. He has to go through the hell and suffering.
Is there any difference in the death if it happens in the presence of a Master?
He is directly liberated; given a choice not to have a body or to have a conscious body in which he will have a complete fulfillment. Death in the physical presence of the Master is a boon everyone should ask and wait, pray, beg for it. Death in the presence of the Master is the greatest thing ever a human being can get it.
The next question is from Vimal from Atlanta-Ujjaini, who is asking, ‘Nithyanandam. If initiated Nithya spiritual healers heal animals such as dogs and cats, how will that energy impact them at the time of death?
Animals will get healed by the initiated healers but the healers will not be able to help the animal to raise to a different consciousness during death. Only through prayer, feeling-connection, blessings of the Master directly, can raise the animal to the different level of consciousness.
Part Six

Death is the door to different possibilities. Death is the door to the happening; when past and future overlap the life it gets deluded and forgets its original natural existence. Death is the moment the influence of the past and the influence of the future is completely moved out. Life stands still in its natural existential reality. Life can be experienced in its purest form in death. Every meditation, every spiritual technique, every kriya helps you only break few patterns few sankaras few engrams, but death helps you to break all the patterns all the possible karmas all the possible engrams including agamya-prarabdha-sanchita.
Death can be a great door to experience life existentially. Most of the beings experience life only during death. It is unfortunate they are afraid of their own life’s peak existence. It is paradoxical, beings which are supposed to be excited about life are afraid of the life which expresses itself intensely during death. Death is only for the things which can die in you, but you are deathless. If you are worried about death you always associate yourself with objects which can die. Objects which can die is not you, neither part of you, nor existential you. It is just added to you.
Kalabhairava when he uses this body, he knows very clearly he is using this body, this brain, this system, to relate with the universe, with the human beings. The moment he finishes the job of relating, he does not identify, possess, associate, own, be one with this body or the brain he uses. When you do not own, possess, feel one with the body you are carrying you will have body and brain, not mind. Mind is the pollution created when you handle the body and brain. Beings having only body and brain, not mind, are pure beings not afraid of death, as they understand that they are deathless. It is mind creates the association, possession, ownership, and creates the idea of death. As per the akashic records, either you get into the depth and realize every moment birth and death is happening, then you will be free from birth and death, or go to the peak and realize the whole life is a long stretch of pure life. There is no death or birth ever happening. If you realize both the extremes or any one extremes you will be free from death, you will be free from the fear of death, misunderstanding of death.
Questions and Answers
The first question today we have is from Sri Nithya Ambananda from Tiruvannamalai. He is asking, ‘Swamiji, yesterday in the akashic reading satsang you told that killing any creature whose frequency of being and life is like that of humans incurs karma for murder. Can you please grace us as to how we can decide - killing which creatures is considered to be a murder in the cosmic law? Every day in our life we are forced to kill many creatures like ants, mosquitoes, etc. Can you please tell what we can do in this regard?
Anything which moves should not be killed including ants, mosquitoes, snakes; anything which moves should not be killed. It will be equivalent to murder.
Next question is from Nithya Poorani from Los Angeles temple: ‘Koti koti pranam to Kalabhairava. Is it ok to go to funeral services to pay respect to friends or relatives?’
It is ok. Seeing more and more dead bodies again and again your bio-memory is reminded about its certain end. It will awaken the intelligence to make the right decisions while body is functioning. So attending more and more deaths are good for any seeker. Any human being attending more and more deaths is good. People who live around the cremation ground or the burial grounds, their intelligence about life automatically awakens, grows.
She is also asking, ‘When a person is liberated at the time of death, where does the soul reside - Akshardham in Swaminarayan, Siddhashaila in Jains or different spaces for videhi masters?’
If the soul is an enlightened being he just becomes one with everything. There are some beings even after enlightenment request the Master not to have one more body and same way not to disappear into the cosmos. They request to enjoy the Master’s form by being around him which is called saameepya mukti. Those jeevas live in a space around the Master’s form. The Masters’ forms continue to remain in form, divyashareera, till his last disciple is enlightened. As per the promises of those Masters, decisions of those Masters, they continue to reside in divyashareera, the divine form, so the disciple who wants to enjoy the form, physical presence, decides to be around him having saameepya mukti. An enlightened disciple has a choice of saameepya mukti and saayujya mukti. Saayujya means becoming one with his formless existence. Saameepya mukti means enjoying with form his form existence. Each Master has their own videha loka, the space in the universe where his form continues to reside till his last disciple achieves saayujya. Till that period the disciples who want to be around him in saameepya reside in saameepya and enjoy his presence and leela, then they disappear into saayujya; they achieve saayujya.
The next question is from Sri Atmamaneeshananda. Lord Mahadeva pranams. In the earlier satsangs you instructed for people living in Kashi have to do ajapajapa and awareness at the ajna chakra. Otherwise they will be pushed out of Kashi boundary at the time of leaving by Kalabhairava. Please tell the technique to continuously keep awareness at the ajna chakra.
Visualize the lamp kept in the windless space in the place of your 3rd eye between the eyebrows constantly. That technique is enough to experience liberation in Varanasi.
He is also asking ‘What is the boundary of Kashi which is considered Kashi and continuously administered by Kalabhairava?’
The Nandi which is in Vishwanatha temple outside, near the gnanavapi, is the only deity which is there unmoved from the time of its installation. So from the face of the Nandi 12 feet away was the place the original Vishwanatha was installed by me Mahadeva. So from that spot 3 miles surrounding is the Swarna Kashi, the golden Kashi, and 3 yojana means 30 miles surrounding is the boundary of Varanasi. But the other side of the Ganga does not include in that Varanasi of the boundary, the boundary of Kashi. Only one side of the Ganga the 30 mile radius is Varanasi’s boundary. But the 3 mile radius is called Swarna Kashi. 3 mile radius was the community of human beings established by Mahadeva me directly. That is the first human civilization established directly by me and I myself used to go round taking care of the safety and security of that place, protecting the place from all demonic forces. My form of going round and doing the work of the security is Kalabhairava. Kalabhairava is nothing but my own form in different dress. Still 3 mile is directly administered by me Kalabhairava.
The next question is from Saipriya Gowrishankar from Powell Ohio: ‘Nithyanandam Swamiji, is there anything called pitruloka?’
No there is no such thing called pitruloka. All pitrus the moment they die get dispersed to different places as per their karma. There is no specific place pitruloka other than the bio-memories of the your pitrus you carry in your own body.
The next question is from Sri Nithya Ambananda: ‘O Mahadeva, you said that if a man had to live till 80 years and if he is murdered at 40, he has to live without body for the rest of the 40 years. The first question is, if he had to live till 80 years, what makes him get murdered at an early age?’
Life is a great possibility with lot of freedom. Only basic decisions are predestined and guided. Every inch is not predestined. Human beings play with lot of freedom. So when they have freedom they do commit lot of mistakes which goes against their destiny and defined lifestyle. The decisions which are defined can also be interfered by the free will and free hand given to human beings.
‘The 2nd question - the remaining number of years a man has to live without the body, is the time period calculated same as how we calculate when he is alive, or is it according to his Thoughts Per Second (TPS)?’
The time is calculated chronologically. When he was alive, the flow of the time - the same is used.
The next question is from an ashramite: ‘You said sleep is also a form of death. Many of us fall asleep so many times in a day. Are all these considered as many death or only the sleep in the night is considered as death?’
Every sleep is death.
The next question is from Magalee from Tillai satsang center: ‘Dear Kalabhairava, why some body does not decompose after the death of the body, as Padre Pio or some Buddhists priests. It seems that the body of Padre Pio who died in 1968 emits the smell of flowers and spices. Sometimes he even still bleeding. Can you explain that?’
Body can be processed by right thinking, beliefs, food, so that either it can completely disappear into the thin air when you leave the body or it can stay eternally without getting decomposed or it can start smelling immediately based on the way you treated the body while you are inside the body. It continues to carry and radiate different qualities even after you leave the body. It’s a simple science. You can keep the body continuously functioning forever even after leaving the body. This science is known to siddhas and they have recorded this science. It is still available.
