Greed is located in the muscle memory not very deep …just under the skin.Fear is deep in the Biomemory and can cause serious diseases like Cancer and only by completion you can come out.Sometimes incompletions sit inside those who are supposed to uphold the Truth. You must stop changing the situation and start changing the incompletions. Whoever runs away instead of completing is an animal. Whoever stands and completes is a human being. Whoever eliminated all powerlessness from his life by completion is Ishwaratwa. Complete, complete, complete continually with this Truth in mind: ‘anything you resist will persist.” Handle life without fear and greed and look into the eyes of the opposite gender without fear or greed and with friendliness. With greed you don’t get what you want in life, with fear you get what you are afraid of. Incompletions with anxiety and excitement are worse than drug addiction. Complete with your greed and fear patterns. Live life as life.

Nithyanandeshwara Samaarambhaam Nithyanandeshwari Madhyamaam |
Asmadaachaarya Paryanthaam Vande Guru Paramparaam ||

I welcome all of you with my love and blessings.

Today, Mahadeva is gracing us in the beautiful Leela of “Viragu Vitra Padalam” – coming down and selling firewood just for protecting the Pandya Kingdom.

Strange are His Leelas, difficult to grasp with ordinary brain!

See, the story goes:

Once, there was a very arrogant singer, Hemanatha Bhagavathar. He was so talented in singing, nobody could beat him. He became very egoistic and arrogant. He goes to different kingdoms and conquers those kingdoms in bet, in challenge. He challenges, ‘anybody who can sing in this country and beat me, I will surrender all my knowledge and I will be his slave. If nobody can beat me, then the kingdom should be my slave.’

So, in this way, he has conquered many kingdoms, cities.

And this guy goes to Madurai. Oh, God! And he becomes so egoistic, he challenges in the Pandya Kingdom. See, if he has challenged Pandya’s court, I think he would not have had any problem. But, he challenged Pandya’s kingdom, he doesn’t know it is run by Sundareshwara! It’s run by Sundareshwara! He, Sundareshwara may be sitting a little far away, but, He runs the kingdom! So, it is run by Sundareshwara.

And, Hemanatha goes and challenges, throws a challenge, ‘is there anyone who can sing better than me?’ And, he throws the usual challenge that if somebody sings better than him, he will become the slave of that person, but if nobody sings better than him, then the whole kingdom should to become his slave.

And nothing can be done when somebody comes and challenges in the court, now it is a question of the pride of the country, it’s a pride of the court. So, simply the king accepted the challenge.

All the court poets ran away within two hours. It was fixed that the next day morning the competition will be held. Forget about that night, that day evening itself, all the poets have disappeared, because all of them are afraid of this Hemanatha Bhagavathar singing.

Finally, the court poet, Bhaanabhadran, he was forced to face this Hemanatha Bhagavathar. Next day, Bhaanabhadran is was shaken because he was so sure that he will lose the game, the whole kingdom will be serving Hemanatha Bhagavathar, and the whole kingdom will blame him for the loss.

So, he runs to Sundareshwara, ‘Mahadeva please protect! What to do? If Hemanatha Bhagavatar wins tomorrow, the whole kingdom will be serving him and the whole kingdom will blame me for losing!’

And, Sundareshwara as usual, ‘alright, you guys will create a mess and I have to come and clear it. Don’t worry. I will do it.’ And He blesses him. And, then, once again He assumes the human form of a firewood seller. Lord Sundareshwara is a firewood seller with his “ektara”.

“Ektara” is a one-stringed musical instrument which these tribes use to entertain themselves and the few people who gather around them. The small vendors who sell firewood or some little honey, things they get from the forest, they come with this ektara instrument and sell those things in the market.

Mahadeva comes down as a firewood seller having the firewood on his head and the ektara in his hand, goes around Madurai city in his bare feet selling the firewood, blessing the whole city of Madurai and the Pandya kingdom.

That night, Mahadeva goes and sleeps exactly outside the house of Hemanatha Bhagavathar and gives a demonstration where He stops Nature just by His will, by His song, and moves Nature as He wants by His song. Bhagavathar was completely spellbound and wonderstruck by the melodious voice of this firewood seller’s singing.

And then the Lord, introduces Himself to Hemanatha Bhagavathar as a failed student of Bhaanabhadran, the court poet.

Hemanatha Bhagavathar thinks, ‘If the failed student himself is so talented, then how will the student’s guru, Bhaanabhadran be? Better, let me disappear from here!’

So, now Hemanatha Bhagavathar is so sure he will lose the game and he has to be a slave his whole life to the court poet in the Pandya kingdom. He was so shaken! Without being there to face the challenge, that night itself he sends a letter to the Pandya king that he lost the game, and he runs away overnight!

And this way, the most compassionate Sundareshwara, by His divine play, protected the Pandya kingdom and Madurai.

Today, Mahadeva is gracing us in that form.

There is a beautiful verse in the Bhagavatham:

“Tava kathāmṛtaḿ tapta-jīvanaḿ Kavibhir īḍitaḿ kalmaṣāpaham Śravaṇa-mańgalaḿ śrīmad ātataḿ Bhuvi gṛṇanti ye bhūri-dā janāḥ.”

“It is so auspicious to listen to your Leelas,

It is so sweet to remember your Leelas in the heart,

It is so charming to be lost in your glory and the Leelas,

Blessed are those who speak, who listen, who are soaked in your Leelas,

Auspicious are those who speak, listen and soak in your Leelas.”

I wanted all of you to know, I personally strongly believe all this has happened. They are neither exaggerations nor poetic descriptions. I very strongly believe all these Leelas happened and continues to happen!

And before entering into today’s satsang, I bless the Nithyananda Hindu Sangham in Malaysia for their enriching project of “Endless Possibilities” – where they are working on serious issues faced by youth currently in Malaysia, and especially attending to this issue of being gangsters and recruited as hired killers. It is time, Indian youth need to come back to the real Vedic Hindu lifestyle. And I bless the Nithyananda Hindu Sangham and the youth of Nithyananda Hindu Sangham and initiate them into this project to enrich the youth into various activities. My blessings!

I will move to today’s Nithya Satsangh.

The subject for today’s Nithya Satsangh: “COMPLETION, AND THE UNNECESSARY COMPLICATIONS WE CREATE IN COMPLETION”.

Listen! Please come to the space of listening!

Today’s Inner Awakening subject is: “Working on the Process of Death, and working on all the incompletions related to fear;, fear of death”.

Please understand, if your root-patterns are the seed, and your incompletions are the tree, suffering is the fruit, fear is the sand, the land (soil) on which the seed grows. Please understand, fear is the base on which all these incompletions, the root-patterns grow, I tell you.

Today, we will work on all the incompletions related to fear, and fear of death, and all the incompletions with which human-beings are suffering, all the incompletions with which every human-being is suffering. We will work on completing it.

Please listen! All the incompletions related to greed is only in muscle-memory level; means, little deeper than skin that’s all; nothing more. But, all the incompletions related to fear are in your bio-memory level, where your whole body responds, where your whole body goes through a very poisonous chemical change. Please understand, it is such a dangerous thing! I tell you, your body going through, you allowing the chemical change due to fear, is the worst punishment you give to yourself. It is much more than drinking alcohol and smoking. It can cause cancer, more diseases than smoking and drinking or any drugs. That is why I always insist, work on your completion, get out of fear, not the situations which you think will create fear.

Please understand, it is very unfortunate, sometimes we think by changing the situation we can come out of fear. But again and again, life will teach you that only by completing you will come out of any fear, never by changing any situation. But what to do? Everybody thinks the solution in front of them is the most easiest solution, the solution in front of them will be the permanent solution. No!

I have a story for you guys:

A woman takes her lover home during the day while her husband is at work. Unknown to her, her nine-year-old son was hiding in the closet.

Suddenly, her husband comes home unexpectedly. So, she puts the lover in the closet with the little boy.

The little boy says, ‘Dark in here!’

The man says, ‘Yes, it is.’, because the man was shocked that the little boy was sitting there in the closet.

The boy says, ‘I have a baseball.’

The man says, ‘That’s nice.’

The boy asks, ‘Want to buy it?’

The man says, ‘No, thanks.’

The boy says, ‘My dad is outside!’

The man says, ‘Okay, okay! How much?’

The boy says, ‘$250’.

The man buys it.

The next few weeks it happens that the boy and the woman’s lover are again together in the closet.

The boy says, ‘Dark in here.’

The man says, ‘Yes, it is.’

The boy says, ‘I have a baseball glove.’

The lover, remembering the last time, asks the boy, ‘How much?’

The boy says, ‘$750.’

The man says, ‘Fine! What to do? I will buy.’

Anyhow! The deal was done.

A few days later, the father tells the boy, ‘Come on, my son! Grab your glove and get your baseball! Let’s go outside and play baseball back and forth.’

The boy says, ‘No, dad I can’t, because I sold both of them.’

Father asks, ‘How much did you sell them for?’

Son says, ‘For $1,000. The ball for $250, and the glove for $750.’

Father says, ‘That is terrible to overcharge your friends like this! You should not be overcharging your friends! That is way more than those two things cost! I am going to take you to church and make you confess!’

They both go to church and the father makes the little boy sit in the Confession Booth and he closes the door to start the confession.

The boy says, ‘Dark in here.’

The priest says, ‘Don’t start that again!’

(Laughter)

Understand, with incompletions, please understand, sometimes the incompletion sits inside the head of the people who are supposed to hold certain space of up and alive. See, some people who are supposed to hold this space up and alive, the incompletion sits in their inner space, can take away the whole society’s trust on that very concept, on that very truth. But, the unfortunate thing is, everyone thinks if you handle the situation now and escape, you save yourself. The priest thinks if he just buys the baseball, he is saved. And, he doesn’t know that the baseball glove is coming, and next something else will be coming, and next something else is going to come.

Understand, unless you change the space of incompletion, unless you move out of incompletion, nothing, nothing, nothing is going to help you, nothing is going to transform your life. I think this is one of the very important truths. Stop changing the situation to save yourself. Start changing the incompletion in you.

Incompletions! I tell you, whenever you go through your incompletions with fear and anxiety, it is literally like you go through an acid bath…..you go through acid bath. At that time, you just do not know…..you escape from that situation.

Yesterday, we were having our regular shoot for Nithya Dharmam show. All of you may be knowing I am doing a Reality Show in Tamil TV…..Tamil news channel, “Thanthi TV”. In that, I saw one lady, when she was cornered, she just walked out of the show. She doesn’t want to handle. She doesn’t want to answer. But, unfortunately, her whole life she is doing only that.

I have seen, even from the ashram, when they are asked to stand up with spiritual strength and completion, people run away. When they run away, I have seen, that becomes the pattern for their whole life. Whenever they are asked to stand up with the strength, whenever life demands, ask them to be strong, responsible and powerful, they run away!

· Please understand, whoever runs away from being powerful continuously in their life, is an Animal.

· Whoever stands with power whenever they are expected to be powerful, is Human-Being.

· Whoever goes into all the powerlessness, establishes their powerfulness voluntarily, is Eshwara.

I tell you, today’s process is you voluntarily go to all the zones where you can be powerless – Atala, Vitala Sutala, , Talaatala, Paataala…..the seven underworlds! Facing all your incompletions with fear is only all those seven Underworlds!

Please understand, facing all your incompletions with your Greed is like Heaven – all the higher worlds, different worlds!

Facing all the incompletions with your Fear is the underworlds – Atala, Vitala, Sutala, Talaatala, Paataala.

Today, all the Inner Awakening participants, you guys are going to face all your underworlds, incompletions with different fears – Atala, Vitala, Sutala, Talaatala, Paataala – and you are going to establish your supremacy and powerfulness in all those lokas – Atala, Vitala, Sutala, Talaatala, Mahaatala, Rasatala, Paataala. These are the seven underworlds. Means, these are different kinds of fears – fear of losing your wealth, fear of losing your identity, fear of losing your name and fame, fear of losing your body, fear of losing your relatives. Each fear is one underworld. When you face those fears and establish yourself with power, you conquer that underworld.

Please understand, Heaven and Hell are not geographical, they are psychological! Heaven and Hell are not geographical, they are psychological!

Because, when Krishna’s devotee experiences Heaven and comes down, he says Krishna is ruling, Krishna is there!

When Shiva’s devotee experiences Heaven and comes down, he feels ‘oh, Shiva was sitting in the front, in the center, and all Shiva Ganas were around; it is Kailasa’!

Same way, Jains believe that Krishna is in seventh Hell! It is their reason, I don’t know why they believe. So, when Jains experience Hell and come down, they say, Krishna is there!

So, it is psychological. It is not physical.

Please understand, so all your incompletions with Greed, when you go through, it is Heaven. All your incompletions with Fear, when you go through, it is called Hell.

Today, we are going to consciously face and go through all our incompletions with Fear.

I have seen in my life, whoever escaped from a situation which creates fear, they die in that same pattern, they get worse diseases than cancer or it is much worse than taking an acid bath every time. So, whenever you are attacked by fear and incompletions of fear, don’t change the situation. The first priority should be completing with the fear, completing with your anxiety, completing with your incompletions. Because, when you change the situation, it may give a temporary relief. If you buy a baseball, you may have temporary relief. Then next day you will have to buy a baseball glove. Then next day you have to buy something else. How long will you be buying? So, changing the situation is not going to work for facing the incompletions of fear. Incompletions of fear will be complete only with one truth. Please listen, only with one truth. You need to internalize this one truth: Anything you resist will persist. So, do the completion where you resist.

And, one more thing. Your fear itself becomes a mold with which you mold your life. If you are afraid of snake, you go on asking life to bring more and more snakes in your life so that you can be constantly engaged! Learn to engage with life without the incompletions of fear and greed!

Please listen, if you can look into somebody’s eyes without the greed of possessing that person, or fear of that person, if you can relate with a simple friendliness, you can learn that with life also. How many of us can look into the opposite gender’s eyes without the greed or fear? If you can, then you can relate with life also. This is the first thing you need to learn. This is one of the main lessons I am trying to make it as an experience and lifestyle for my Gurukul kids. Never allowing, never allowing the distance with life. You should be able to handle life without fear and greed. You should be able to handle life with a beautiful friendliness. If you can look into people’s eyes and talk without fear or greed…..

Yesterday, the Director of our show, one of the Directors and people in the set, they were all saying, ‘Swamiji, the sharp look with which you look at the participants and ask the question, they just open up and tell everything! They were saying, ‘when we ask them, they don’t tell anything. How come, when they come and sit in front of you and, daga, daga, daga, daga, daga, daga, they pour out the whole thing?’

Please listen, understand, when you are able to directly face life without this mediator of fear and greed…..I tell you, you believe even to live with life, you need broker’s help. You are nothing but an agent of a broker. For everything, you need a broker. So, with life also, you don’t live it directly. You need a broker. Who is the broker? Fear or Greed!

Unfortunately, when your broker knows you carry fear or greed, he will design the life that way only and bring it to you, so that he can exploit you. See, for example, your broker knows you really want that land, what will happen? That land will now cost three times more for you! If he knows you have a deep desire for that land, the land is now going to cost three times more. I am telling you, I am suffering with that problem! Unfortunately, some of my great assistant Swamis, have released our temple plan. All of you know that I am planning for the world’s largest Shiva temple in Bidadi. Once completed, that will be the world’s largest Shiva temple and monastery complex. Unfortunately, the whole plan got leaked. The moment the plan got leaked, all around the area the land value has gone five times up! Now it is sitting on the top of a tree, taller than our banyan tree! Understand, when the broker knows you really, really need it, the price goes up. Same way, you have these two fellows in your life doing brokering with life – your Greed and your Fear. Unfortunately, your greed makes sure you don’t get what you are greedy about, your fear makes sure you always get what you are afraid of! Incompletions, if the incompletions are behaving as a broker between you and your life, please be very clear, you are in Hell! You are in Hell! So, the first thing you need to attend to is complete with those incompletions. Whether it is fear or greed, complete with those incompletions! Otherwise, you will go on suffering between Heaven and Hell! In Hell you have the constant feeling, ‘When will I get out? When will I get out?’ With Heaven you have the constant feeling, ‘Will they kick me out? Will they kick me out?’ With Heaven, you are afraid they may kick you out. With Hell you are waiting, ‘When will they let me out? When will they let me out?’

I have a story:

An engineer dies and reports to the Pearly Gates. Saint Peter checks his dossier and says, ‘oh, you are an engineer; you’re in the wrong place.’

So the engineer reports to the Gates of Hell and he is let in. Pretty soon, the engineer gets dissatisfied with the level of comfort in Hell and starts designing and building improvements. After a while, they have got air-conditioning, flush toilets, and escalators, and the engineer is a pretty popular guy now.

One day, God calls Satan on the telephone and says with a sneer, ‘so, how is it going down there in Hell?’

Satan replies, ‘eh, things are going great. We have air-conditioning, flush toilets, and escalators, and there is no telling what this engineer is going to come up with next!’

God replies, ‘What! You’ve got an engineer? That is a mistake! You should have never got him there! Send him up here!’

Satan says, ‘no way! I like having an engineer on my staff, and I am keeping him!’

God says, ‘hey, send him back up here or I will sue you!’

Satan laughs uproariously and answers, ‘Yeah, right! And where are you going to get a lawyer to sue me?’

(Laughter)

Sometimes, jokes should not be explained. You should either get the joke and laugh, or at least you should have the intelligence, whether you got the joke or not, don’t miss the laughter! That’s all! When the punch-line is delivered, just roll and laugh!

This is what happened:

Once, Mulla was telling a joke and he missed the punch-line very badly, and messed it.

All the friends were just staring at Mulla.

One guy just started rolling on the ground and laughing. He could not control his laughter, rolling and laughing.

The others said, ‘Hey, Stop! Stop! Stop! Stop! Stop! Why are you laughing? What have you understood?’

This friend who was laughing, he urges, ‘hey, everyone laugh now itself, otherwise he’ll tell the same joke once more!’

At least that fear is better!

Understand, when you are carrying the deep incompletions related to fear and greed, anxiety and the excitement, your incompletions with anxiety and excitement both are worse than being a drug addict; worse than being a drug addict! Understand, worse than being a drug addict!

The essence of today’s satsangh:

Complete with your fear and greed patterns. I tell you, even if you know there is a fear pattern working in you at any given situation, even if you have that much of intelligence, you are saved. You are not in danger. At least for your degradation, you got a stay! You got a stay order for your degradation! Even remembrance is enough! Then completing you can do later on. Even remembrance, ‘hey, I am in the mood. I am now possessed by the incompletions of my fear, anxiety.’ That is enough. You will not do something foolish. You will not end up messing up more things in your life. You will not think and act…!(Laughter)

So, the essence of today’s satsang:

Live, Live, Live, Completion, Completion, Completion! Don’t allow the broker of Fear and Greed to enter in your life for brokering! And if you expose yourself to your fear or greed, he will exploit you and he will shape the life exactly to exploit you. If the brokers did not know that I wanted this land for the temple, I would have bought it ten times cheaper. When the brokers know, it goes up ten times more. Same way, if your fear or greed knows this is what you are afraid of and you need this, it will exploit you, push and pull you. Your life will completely cheat you. So, be very clear, do not bring fear or greed into your life. Don’t allow fear or greed to be a broker. Let life be lived as life.
