Behind it, a shrine is heavily decorated with red, orange and yellow flower garlands and banana-leaf or fruit offerings. Two priests in white dhotis stand at left, one bare-chested with sacred ash markings and a folded cloth at his waist, the other wearing a white wrap and turban. On the right, a figure in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala sits on an ornate red and gold throne. Several other people in white and saffron sit or stand in the background near musical equipment. Six to twenty people are visible in total.2013-07-09A photograph of an open-sided pavilion under a corrugated roof with string lights and a hanging speaker, showing a fire ritual on a yellow-tiled fire pit. A man in orange robes and an orange turban stands at the pit, pouring offerings into the flames, while a younger attendant in orange with a rudraksha mala watches beside him. On the left, a seated figure in a red-brown robe and ornate gold garland sits on a gold and red throne, and a deity murti stands decorated with flower garlands on a second gold throne beyond the fire. A tray of lemons and red flowers lies in the foreground, a brass lamp and bowls sit nearby, and seated devotees in white and orange fill the mats in the background. A hand-held gong stands at the left edge. The scene reads as a homa or yagna.2017-04-16September 26 20172017-09-26 +1 copiesApril 16 20172017-04-16
