In the foreground, a priest with a shaved head and an orange-and-cream shawl holds a lit multi-tiered brass lamp aloft during aarti. Flanking the entrance are painted stucco guardian figures with multiple arms, gold crowns and jewellery, and hanging strands of black beads and small brass bells frame the doorway. A pedestal lamp stands at the right edge.2014-11-26October 27 20142014-10-27 +1 copiesMay 17 20132013-05-17Photo inside a temple-style hall. A seated figure in a maroon-red robe and matching headwrap sits on an ornate gold throne with a tiger-skin cushion, wearing a red-and-white flower garland and a gold-toned necklace. Two tall painted statues of four-armed deities flank the throne, each in gold crowns, gold jewellery, orange-red dhoti and green sash, holding ritual objects. In the foreground a bald man in orange-saffron robes is seen from behind, and at right a devotee with folded hands sits near brass lamps. Bells and hanging lamps hang above the throne. The seated figure's identity is uncertain from appearance alone; the page notes an appearance-based candidate, but the figure's cues are only partly distinctive.2014-10-27November 11 20142014-11-11A photograph inside a temple hall with bright painted dvarapala guardian statues flanking a golden ornate throne. A figure seated on the gilded throne wears a red turban and red-and-saffron robes, with a long rudraksha-style strand visible at the neck, and raises a hand in blessing. A shaved-headed man in saffron and orange cloth stands with his back to the camera in the foreground. On the right, women in white clothes sit with palms pressed together in namaskar. Hanging bells, a canopy and a string of beads decorate the shrine area behind the throne. Probable Swamiji is the seated figure, given the red turban, saffron robes and rudraksha cues.2014-11-27
