A large, ancient banyan tree with a massive trunk and many sprawling aerial roots and hanging prop roots fills the frame, its wide canopy spreading over a dusty clearing. Several circular white-plastered platforms or raised rings surround the trunk, and tall white posts stand on concrete bases. On the left, a few people in light clothing sit near the edge of the platform. Dry red earth covers the ground, with a rock and green shrubs at the right edge.
