A photograph of a large banyan tree in an open outdoor grounds setting. Its wide, spreading canopy of dense green leaves and sweeping horizontal branches covers much of the frame, and many thick aerial prop roots hang down and merge into a massive trunk. Several white-painted vertical poles stand around the tree base, some with ropes hanging from them, set on a low white-walled planter edge over bare reddish-brown earth with patches of grass. A green cylindrical bollard-style post stands in the lower left foreground. No people are visible.
