A photograph of a large banyan tree in an open outdoor grounds setting. Its wide, spreading canopy of dense green leaves and sweeping horizontal branches covers much of the frame, and many thick aerial prop roots hang down and merge into a massive trunk. Several white-painted vertical poles stand around the tree base, some with ropes hanging from them, set on a low white-walled planter edge over bare reddish-brown earth with patches of grass. A green cylindrical bollard-style post stands in the lower left foreground. No people are visible.2010-07-14A large, sprawling banyan tree dominates an open dirt-and-grass yard, its thick trunk and many aerial roots spreading under a canopy of green leaves. Several white-painted circular platforms or raised bases surround the trunk. Thin white metal poles stand in a row on the left, and a rope or pole runs diagonally on the right. Far to the left, a small figure in red and orange clothing stands near a red-cloth-covered area beside the tree, and another person in white sits or stands further left near the base of the trunk. Clear white sky shows through gaps in the leaves.2010-07-14A photograph of a large, sprawling banyan tree with many thick, horizontal branches spreading low over a reddish-brown earthen ground.
