A photograph of a ritual arrangement on sandy ground. Two ripe yellow bananas and four green limes sit on a green leaf at the lower left, surrounded by kumkum and turmeric powder in orange and red. Loose white and pink flower petals lie scattered, and a heap of red and white flowers rests near the top centre. Sand has been smoothed and drawn with patterns. At the top left, a bare foot and the edge of a rust-red garment are visible, and at the top right a white cloth and a woven mat appear. At the lower left, a foot in a green shoe and white trousers is partly visible. The scene suggests a puja offering made on sand, with fruit, flowers and kumkum laid out as offerings.
