Near the centre base of the trees, a small white-clad figure stands on a path beside a low circular bed of red flowers, with a tall teal-and-white banner or flag rising beside it. The sky is pale and hazy.2013-04-12October 24 20122012-10-24A large spreading tree with dense green foliage and thin branches fills the frame under a pale overcast sky. A narrow concrete path curves along reddish-brown earth toward a small shrine area at right, where a bed of red flowers surrounds a dark stone base beside a tall blue-and-white marker or post. Scattered shrubs and other trees surround the open ground, and no people are visible.2013-04-12December 12 20062006-12-12A large banyan tree with a wide, dense canopy dominates a landscaped garden. A curved concrete-edged pathway of pale sand runs through the foreground, flanked by low yellow-green shrubs. Beneath the tree, a raised platform with a red-brown earthen mound and offerings sits at the base of the trunks. Tall slender trees frame the left and right sides, and a bright sky shows above. Faint lens flare appears near the crown.2008-11-05November 12 20102010-11-12A sunlit outdoor garden at a Banyan Tree site. A large dense banyan tree with spreading dark green canopy stands in the background, its trunk and pillars visible beneath it. A curved concrete pathway with raised stone edging runs along the left side through bare reddish-brown earth. A small platform with dark red-brown material sits beneath the tree. Bright yellow-green shrubs and a slender tree fill the right foreground. No people are visible.2008-11-05A photograph of a large, dense banyan tree with broad spreading canopy and many aerial roots in a landscaped garden. A curved sandy footpath edged with white painted kerbs winds toward a small circular area at the tree's base, which holds a mound of red earth or kumkum-coloured ground and a small enclosure. Trimmed yellow-green shrubs line the path, and a few thin young trees stand near the base. No people are visible in the scene.2008-12-10Outdoors on a dry dirt path beneath a large spreading banyan tree with dense green leaves and hanging aerial roots. Several people in white clothing stand and walk along the path; one person in the centre wears a white garment, and a figure in orange or saffron robes stands to the left. Nearby a red and orange decorated object or palanquin-like structure rests on the ground under the branches. Scrubby bushes, a utility pole and a pale rocky hillside appear in the background under a clear blue sky.2007-02-24November 12 20102010-11-12
