Circular raised stone platforms surround several trunks, and a few people walk among them on the reddish earth. Visible figures include a woman in a teal top and dark trousers, a person in white with orange-saffron garments nearby, and others in orange and white clothing at the far right. No a person candidate is clearly identifiable, so the figures are described by role and dress only.2016-09-11A photograph of a large banyan tree with sprawling horizontal limbs and many hanging aerial roots forming arches and columns. Around the circular stone platforms and sandy paths beneath it, a group of people in orange, saffron and white clothing walk and stand; one woman wears a teal-blue sari, another person in white and orange sits near the right edge. Several people hold orange cloth and move among the roots.2016-09-11A large, sprawling banyan tree with many spreading horizontal branches and dense green leaves fills the frame, its aerial prop roots hanging down around a reddish-brown earthen ground. Circular low white-painted stone borders surround the tree bases. No people are clearly visible; a small figure may be partly hidden in the shade at the centre-right, but it is not distinct. Pale grey trunks rise at the right edge. Bright sky shows through gaps in the canopy.2013-06-20A large banyan tree with a wide, dense canopy dominates a landscaped garden. A curved concrete-edged pathway of pale sand runs through the foreground, flanked by low yellow-green shrubs. Beneath the tree, a raised platform with a red-brown earthen mound and offerings sits at the base of the trunks. Tall slender trees frame the left and right sides, and a bright sky shows above. Faint lens flare appears near the crown.2008-11-05A large old sacred fig tree with heart-shaped green leaves dominates the foreground, its trunk and low branches hung with many colourful cloth strips and prayer flags in red, yellow, blue and white. A lush green lawn and a brick path lead toward a small open-sided shelter in the middle distance, where a few people in light clothing stand near a bright orange cloth. Strings of multicoloured prayer flags run along the left edge and across the background. To the right, low brick foundations and a small group of people in white clothing stand near a distant structure.2011-07-31December 02 20092009-12-02November 21 20112011-11-21A photograph of devotees gathered beneath a large banyan tree with many aerial roots and spreading branches. The ground is bare red-brown earth with circular raised stone platforms around the trunk. A woman in a orange-and-gold sari stands near the center. Several people in white ritual clothes and white dhotis work at the base of the tree, one man in a white shirt carrying a camera, and a woman in a white sari kneels beside a small tool. Others in dark and patterned clothing stand nearby. The scene appears to be an outdoor ashram tree-tending or ground-preparation activity. No identifiable a person figure is visible.2016-09-18
