Outdoors on a dry dirt path beneath a large spreading banyan tree with dense green leaves and hanging aerial roots. Several people in white clothing stand and walk along the path; one person in the centre wears a white garment, and a figure in orange or saffron robes stands to the left. Nearby a red and orange decorated object or palanquin-like structure rests on the ground under the branches. Scrubby bushes, a utility pole and a pale rocky hillside appear in the background under a clear blue sky.

On a black stone platform at the tree base, a figure in saffron-orange robes stands with hands raised, facing the trunk. Beside them, a woman in orange with a white garland stands with hands joined. Around them, people in white dhotis and white shirts or saris stand in a semicircle, some holding long golden ceremonial staffs or poles. A white-rimmed circular planter surrounds the tree base, and white kolam rangoli patterns decorate the sandy ground at right. The scene suggests a tree worship or pooja at the banyan.2009-12-27October 06 20062006-10-06February 27 20162016-02-27 +1 copiesOutdoors beneath a large banyan tree with dense hanging aerial roots, a group walks along a stone-paved path past a red-brown excavation edge and a golden gateway with carved pillars. A man in orange robes with a turban-like head wrap and a sannyasi in saffron-orange cloth walk with a woman in orange who carries a folded paper, while a man in white dhoti and shirt stands further along. A woman in white sari with an orange border stands at the right edge, partly seen. The setting is dry sandy ground with fallen leaves, consistent with the Kalpataru banyan temple construction site.2018-02-01June 17 20092009-06-17February 01 20182018-02-01
