Several people in white clothing stand and walk along the path; one person in the centre wears a white garment, and a figure in orange or saffron robes stands to the left. Nearby a red and orange decorated object or palanquin-like structure rests on the ground under the branches. Scrubby bushes, a utility pole and a pale rocky hillside appear in the background under a clear blue sky.2007-02-24January 01 20122012-01-01August 08 20092009-08-08August 08 20092009-08-08Four men in saffron-orange robes walk single file along a narrow dirt path through lush green garden foliage, with white stones lining the edge and a cycad plant in the foreground. The lead figure has long dark hair and wears a rudraksha mala, looking downward as he walks. Behind him, a bearded man in orange and a man in orange with a shawl follow, and another person in orange appears further back among the trees. Two figures in white clothing stand farther along the path.2008-07-27August 05 20092009-08-05June 05 20112011-06-05August 08 20092009-08-08A group of four people walks single file along a dusty path through dense green shrubs and trees, apparently on the pilgrimage around Arunachala Hill. The lead figure in front, on the right, wears a full saffron-orange shawl over a red undergarment and is walking forward with a slight turn of the head. Behind him, a man in white clothes with an orange shawl follows, and two women in white saris with orange shawls walk at the back. The ground is reddish-brown earth with sparse bushes and a bare-trunked tree at the right edge. Overall the scene is natural and outdoors, with a plain, unadorned walking pilgrimage atmosphere.2009-08-05A photograph of a narrow dirt footpath winding through dry scrub and thorny trees on a hillside. A man in an orange-saffron robe walks ahead at the centre of the path, with several people in white clothing following behind him, including one in a white shawl. Bare trunks, green shrubs and a rocky reddish slope fill the background.2009-08-05
