A curved sandy footpath edged with white painted kerbs winds toward a small circular area at the tree's base, which holds a mound of red earth or kumkum-coloured ground and a small enclosure. Trimmed yellow-green shrubs line the path, and a few thin young trees stand near the base. No people are visible in the scene.2008-12-10A sunlit outdoor garden at a Banyan Tree site. A large dense banyan tree with spreading dark green canopy stands in the background, its trunk and pillars visible beneath it. A curved concrete pathway with raised stone edging runs along the left side through bare reddish-brown earth. A small platform with dark red-brown material sits beneath the tree. Bright yellow-green shrubs and a slender tree fill the right foreground. No people are visible.2008-11-05December 14 20062006-12-14August 03 20092009-08-03A photograph of a lush garden path winding through dense green foliage, lined with white-painted stones and flat stepping stones over reddish earth. Tall feathery trees, leafy shrubs and a sago-palm-like cycad frame the path. Near the centre, at the far end of the path, a small group of about three people in white clothes walk away from the camera, one with an orange cloth. No one is identifiable with confidence, and the figures are too small and distant to assess appearance.2008-07-27October 19 20062006-10-19A photograph of an outdoor grove beneath a massive horizontal banyan branch with hanging aerial roots and dappled shade. Several people in white clothing walk and stand along a dirt path strewn with dry leaves, a low stone-edged channel running beside them. Among them a woman in a white sari stands near the centre, and a man in white kneels at the path's edge. The figures are small and distant, and no one is clearly identifiable as a specific individual.2016-02-27 +1 copiesA photograph of a group of people in white clothing sitting on flat rocks beneath a large, sprawling banyan tree with thick aerial roots and spreading branches. The ground is covered with dry fallen leaves. A seated figure in the centre faces away from the camera, while others in white sit nearby, some looking toward the camera, appearing to be in meditation or quiet sitting. No figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance, so the depiction is uncertain.2007-03-06November 12 20102010-11-12
