A photograph at an outdoor shrine under a large spreading tree. A standing man in an orange-saffron dhoti-style garment with a bare upper body, wearing a long layered garland of red, pink and white flowers and ornate gold necklaces, smiles toward the camera at the left edge. Beside him stands a golden-bronze seated deity murti with a dark face, wearing a red and orange turban-like crown, a gold chest ornament and beaded necklaces, holding a staff-like object across its body on a gold throne base. The murti is framed by a tall arch of garlands in red, yellow, purple, green and white flowers, and a black stone kalasha-style lamp with a small flame sits on a red-stained rock platform in front. Metal railings and tree trunks surround the scene.2015-01-04January 04 20152015-01-04January 04 20152015-01-04January 04 20152015-01-04A devotee in an orange-saffron robe stands at right, holding a lit camphor flame in one hand and a brass handbell in the other, performing aarti before a seated deity murti. The murti is draped in red-orange cloth, wears gold jewellery and a red crown, and sits on a gold throne beneath a white arched shrine frame. Its body is garlanded with marigolds and bright green and white flower strings. Brass lamps and offerings lie on a small stone table before it. The scene is set under shady trees in an open outdoor shrine area, with a few distant figures in orange and white clothing visible in the background. The devotee's robe matches the saffron of the murti's cloth, and the setting is an outdoor puja.2009-07-07January 04 20152015-01-04July 07 20092009-07-07February 05 20152015-02-05Outdoor temple scene under a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots.
