Behind it, red tiered stone steps lead up to a building. At right, a central figure sits on a decorated golden-orange seat under an ornate arch of flowers and gold, with a small deity murti displayed above. Many people in white, saffron and other coloured clothes stand waist-deep in the water, some holding offerings, consistent with a ritual abhishekam or puja.
