Several men in saffron and orange garments and white dhotis stand on a red-edged platform and steel scaffold stairs around the base, performing abhishekam. Red flags on poles line the terraced stone steps, where more people in white clothing are seated or walking. A tree and a stone building with a doorway sit behind the courtyard.2016-09-19A temple tank with green water and tiered red-brick steps lined with small shrines. Several saffron-robed monks wade waist-deep in the water, holding red poles that support a decorated palanquin or utsava murti vehicle draped with red and white flower garlands and a golden canopy at its top. A deity murti is seated within the flower-covered palanquin. Other monks in orange robes stand on the steps and at the water's edge, and one person in white stands on the upper steps. The scene appears to be a temple tank ritual where the deity is carried through the water.2013-04-25April 29 20182018-04-29 +1 copiesAugust 27 20092009-08-27 +1 copiesFebruary 27 20142014-02-27Outdoor bhumi puja at a construction site. A bare-chested man in a rust-brown dhoti-wrap and a long multicoloured flower garland pours water from a brass kalasha into a dug pit, water splashing onto earth and flower petals. Nearby, a man in white dhoti with gold border and a rudraksha mala watches, and a man in saffron-orange dhoti beats a white drum. Other men in white and orange dhotis stand behind, and a cameraman films at right. Eight people visible in total.2016-11-23Wide outdoor photograph of a terraced red-brick amphitheatre beside still water, with many people seated on tiers and steps. On the left, rows of people in white clothes sit on the stone seating, while a group in orange robes gathers on the lower right steps near the water. A cameraman with a tripod stands on the central staircase, and a green pennant flies at the upper left above a line of white flag poles and bunting. Trees and low buildings fill the background under a pale sky.2016-01-03September 11 20162016-09-11November 18 20132013-11-18September 19 20162016-09-19
