A photograph of a homa fire pit at night. A blazing fire rises from a square brick-built fire pit whose sides are decorated with white and blue painted patterns and yellow marigold flowers. Behind it, a brass lamp with a flame, a pile of flower garlands and a banana-leaf offering sit on the ground. Two people are visible at the edge: one in an orange-saffron cloth kneeling beside the offerings, and another standing at right in a cream and orange dhoti.2016-03-06 +1 copiesPhoto 11702107 +1 copiesPhoto 11701817 +1 copiesPhoto 11717623 +2 copiesPhoto 11704296 +1 copiesPhoto 11701232 +2 copiesFebruary 19 20162016-02-19A homa fire burns inside a square fire pit built from stacked brown bricks, each top brick dusted with white ash-like powder and dotted with red kumkum. A silver bowl with a ladle sits on the brick rim at left, and a red-robed figure with wrists and a bracelet visible sits behind the fire, tending the flames. Scattered petals and a small potted plant appear at the right edge, and brass vessels rest at the left.2014-03-18March 06 20162016-03-06 +1 copiesMarch 06 20162016-03-06 +1 copiesPhoto 11701293 +2 copiesSeptember 27 20172017-09-27 +1 copies
