Bright orange flames rise from burning wood sticks at the centre, with smoke drifting upward. A blurred figure in white is visible at the top edge, but no clear person is in focus. The setting suggests a fire ritual, shown as a photograph of the yagna altar.2016-07-03March 06 20162016-03-06A homa fire burns in a tiered square fire pit built of orange-yellow bricks decorated with white lines, purple and red flower petals, and green patches. Flames and smoke rise from the wood inside. Behind the pit, a priest in a green cloth and bare upper body pours liquid from a brass ladle or bowl into the fire. Small plates hold green leaves and red petals, and a basket of grains sits nearby. Only partial limbs of others in white are visible at the top edge.2016-07-04
