Many devotees wear orange-saffron robes and orange headwraps. A bare-chested man in white dhoti holds a long staff-like pole with a multicoloured fringed canopy, and a woman in orange carries a brass tray with a coconut and flower garland. Musicians play drums and wind instruments, and women carry offerings in trays. Decorative floor patterns mark the ground. A man in white dhoti and shawl stands at the centre of the group.2017-08-25November 16 20152015-11-16November 16 20152015-11-16December 22 20182018-12-22September 02 20172017-09-02Five young male ascetic drummers in saffron-orange dhoti and shawls with red borders stand outdoors on a dirt ground in front of a low white wall with red pillars and green trees. Each wears rudraksha malas and white and red forehead markings. Several play barrel-shaped drums slung from white straps, one drummer strikes a small hand cymbal, and the man at right stands with his hands folded near his mouth. Dry leaves lie on the ground and a stone pile sits behind the wall.2014-08-31December 22 20182018-12-22 +1 copiesSeptember 27 20172017-09-27 +1 copiesDecember 20 20182018-12-20 +2 copiesA group of young women in matching saffron-orange saris and blouses stand on a paved courtyard under a corrugated metal roof with red posts and a red boundary wall behind them. Several play round hand drums, and some hold long curved horns, with ornate gold necklaces, beaded rudraksha-style malas, bangles, and gold waist belts. A young woman at the centre smiles while playing a horn, and two women at the right raise their drums. Palm trees and a tree stand beyond the enclosure. The scene suggests a procession rehearsal or drumming troupe performance at an ashram-style compound.2017-08-25
