December 07 20142014-12-07Outdoor procession on gravel near flowering oleander bushes with pink blossoms. A bearded man in an orange-red saffron robe with gold-bordered hem walks with eyes lowered, wearing a long multi-strand rudraksha mala with large beads reaching his chest, a vibhuti tripundra mark on his forehead, and a gold chain. Behind him a bare-chested attendant in a white dhoti with gold border and a rudraksha mala holds a tall orange pole supporting an ornate orange and gold ceremonial umbrella with beaded fringe. Other devotees and a man in white shirt and trousers stand in the background beside a pile of sandals. Several cues are visible; the page identifies this as a person, with the saffron robe and long rudraksha garland as distinctive ceremonial cues.2016-10-11March 01 20162016-03-01A photograph of three men walking along a paved path lined with green trees and red boundary walls on a sunny day. In the foreground a man in a red-maroon silk dhoti and shawl with gold borders walks holding a tall bamboo staff with red and green tassels at the top. He wears a black turban-style headwrap with a red bindi, layered gold beaded necklaces and a gold pendant, gold armlets and bangles, and a rudraksha mala across his shoulders. Behind him, a second man with a shaved head, white tripundra markings and a similar red-and-gold garment and gold necklace walks alongside, followed by other participants in red and white clothing. The scene suggests a ritual procession, with one visible person sometimes identified as a person by appearance cues.2016-01-03April 26 20162016-04-26January 04 20152015-01-04 +1 copiesPhoto 11730485May 11 20152015-05-11Photo 11701689 +3 copies
