March 14 20142014-03-14Three saffron-robed men walk along a dirt path beneath a pink arched stone bridge. The man on the left, bald and holding an orange umbrella aloft, wears an orange robe with a rudraksha mala and gold-edged cloth. The centre man, in an orange robe with yellow borders, wears a long orange-and-white bead garland and walks smiling. The man on the right, bald, wears an orange robe and a long rudraksha mala. A man in a blue shirt with a red-orange shawl walks beside them, and a few more people follow under the arch. Dry grass, scattered litter and a sloping embankment surround the path.2014-03-14March 14 20142014-03-14January 04 20152015-01-04 +1 copiesMarch 14 20142014-03-14April 26 20162016-04-26February 28 20132013-02-28Outdoor photograph of a procession on a shaded path under trees. A central figure in a dark-red and saffron robe with a gold border wears long dark swept-back hair, a crown-like headpiece, several strands of white flower garlands, a large ornate gold pendant and rudraksha-style beads, and raises a long golden staff with both hands while smiling. Flanking men in saffron and red ritual robes with gold-bordered cloth, rudraksha malas and sandalwood or ash tilaks on their foreheads walk alongside. Another man at right with a shaved head and white tripundra markings holds his hands together. A few younger attendants stand behind, and a metal railing and a tree canopy frame the scene. Swamiji (probable): the central figure shows long swept-back hair, a crown-like headpiece, a large ornate gold pendant, garlands and rudraksha beads, consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji.2016-01-03February 28 20132013-02-28Outdoor procession on a dirt path lined with palm trees. Under a red umbrella with gold floral pattern and beaded fringe, a smiling woman with long dark hair wears an orange saffron robe, a white and red flower garland, and a rudraksha mala, carrying an orange cloth. Beside her on the right, a shaved-headed man in orange robe and gold necklace walks in blue slippers. On the left, a bearded man in orange robe with rudraksha mala walks. Behind them, a woman in a blue sari, men in white dhotis and shirts, and shaved-headed boys in white cloth follow along the path.2011-05-23January 04 20152015-01-04Photo 11691982
