A photograph of a thatched-roof open pavilion where a shaved-headed priest in an orange-saffron dhoti and bare chest stands at a brick fire altar, holding a flame over a small lamp in front of a deity murti decorated with white and pink flower garlands. A second bare-chested man in a white dhoti holds a bell near the altar, and a third man in white shirt and dhoti stands at right with palms joined in namaste. Two framed portraits behind the altar, garlanded with flowers, show a man and a woman in white. A patterned pink floral backdrop and brass vessels and a kalasha complete the puja setting.2001-07-05July 05 20012001-07-05November 07 20002000-11-07A thatched open-sided pavilion holds a brick fire pit (homa kund) sending up smoke. A seated man in a saffron-orange robe, with a shaved head and tilak, leads the ritual, holding a flower-decked object and a small bell toward the flames. To the left, a shirtless man in a white dhoti with a red rudraksha-style mala stands watching. Behind the fire, a draped pink-patterned backdrop frames three framed portraits garlanded with flowers, and a decorated altar with brass lamps and a kalasha-like vessel sits to the right. Fruit, coconuts, and flower offerings lie on the ground in front, and a small brass vessel rests near the fire pit.2001-07-05April 14 20012001-04-142002 - Beautiful Pictures2003 -Glimpses From Various ProgramsJanuary 09 and 10 2001 - Day 1 and 2 of Chandi Homa in KavunthapadiJanuary 09 and 10 2001 - Day 1 and 2 of Chandi Homa in Kavunthapadi2001 - KAILASA in Tiruchengode (activities yet to be dated)2001 - KAILASA in Tiruchengode (activities yet to be dated)2002 - Beautiful Pictures +1 copies
