A bald man in an orange-saffron robe with a rudraksha mala and a silver hand bell stands at an altar under a thatched roof, reaching toward offerings. On the altar is a framed portrait wrapped in white and red flower garlands, a silver vessel, a tray of yellow lemons or limes, and a patterned cloth. Behind him a man in a white shirt holds a metal bowl of red kumkum, and another man in white stands nearby with a tray of flowers. Some elements appear to be part of a ritual puja setting.2001-07-05April 17 20112011-04-17A thatched open-sided pavilion holds a brick fire pit (homa kund) sending up smoke. A seated man in a saffron-orange robe, with a shaved head and tilak, leads the ritual, holding a flower-decked object and a small bell toward the flames. To the left, a shirtless man in a white dhoti with a red rudraksha-style mala stands watching. Behind the fire, a draped pink-patterned backdrop frames three framed portraits garlanded with flowers, and a decorated altar with brass lamps and a kalasha-like vessel sits to the right. Fruit, coconuts, and flower offerings lie on the ground in front, and a small brass vessel rests near the fire pit.2001-07-05April 17 20112011-04-17Photo of a night ritual under a bamboo-and-thatch canopy. On the shrine table are a brass lamp, a brass kalasha-style vessel, a small brass deity figure decorated with red and pink flowers, and a framed picture garlanded with white flowers.2010-02-17July 05 20012001-07-05 +1 copies2003 - Sacred collection Uncategorized2002 - Beautiful PicturesJuly 05 20012001-07-05 +1 copiesA figure in an orange turban and sleeveless orange robe stands before a shrine performing an aarti with a lit oil lamp. A framed portrait on the left, garlanded with pink and white flowers, shows a saffron-robed man, and a large floral arrangement with red elephant figure, kalasha and brass lamps decorates the altar table. Behind him, two men in white and a man in a checked shirt stand with hands folded in devotion, in a bare plastered room with a window at the top right. Swamiji (probable): the figure has long dark hair under an orange turban and wears orange robes and a rudraksha-style necklace, consistent with the saffron and turban cues, performing the aarti.2008-07-28July 27 20082008-07-27
