A small altar display in front of a large printed photograph of the golden Murugan statue at Batu Caves, Malaysia, with a tall staircase of steps beside it. Below the poster, on a gold-patterned wooden stand, sits a small deity murti dressed in green and gold cloth with a flower garland, surrounded by a tray of marigold, chrysanthemum and blue flowers and several small metal figures. A purple and gold-bordered cloth covers the table, with a gold-yellow cloth beneath, and two brass oil lamps flank the altar. No people are visible.
