A smiling man seated on an ornate gold throne with a carved crown-like back, raising one hand in a blessing gesture. He is bare-chested, wearing a gold ceremonial necklace with a central pendant, layered red and black beaded malas, and gold bangles. A white and red forehead marking is visible. Flanking him are gold ceremonial fans with decorative finials and a golden figure on the right, set against a gold draped backdrop.A smiling man seated on an ornate gilded throne with a carved lion-face back panel, pressing his palms together in namaste. He wears a rust-brown silk turban decorated with gold and white stone ornaments and a rudraksha strand, a white-and-red tilak on his forehead, and a bare chest covered by layered rudraksha and red coral-bead malas, gold bangles and a large gold pendant. Swamiji (probable): the bare-chested figure wears a turban, rudraksha malas and ceremonial gold ornaments, consistent with the page's Swamiji reference, but the face-independent cues are only moderately distinctive. Gold drapery forms the background. AA seated man on an ornate gold throne is the central subject, posed before gold draped curtains. He wears a brown-orange dhoti, many beaded rudraksha malas and a large ceremonial gold pendant necklace, with a white and red tilak on his forehead and a gold crown-like headpiece; his right hand is raised in blessing and his left holds a tall silver staff with a crescent finial. Beside him stand gold metal statues of deities: one holds a trident-like staff and a bowl, the other plays a veena. A silver-rimmed trident leans at the left edge and a small brass plate rests near the feet.

DEVI MEENAKSHI WHO IS THE COSMIC MOTHER HERSELF. ALL THE RITUALS PERFORMED IN ADI KAILASA ARE OFFICIATED AND MICROMANAGED BY THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM, JAGATGURU MAHASANNIDHANAM, HIS DIVINE HOLINESS BHAGAVAN NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM.

LET’S LEARN THE HISTORY OF MEENAKSHI PATTABHISHEKAM.
THE HAPPENING OF DEVI MEENAKSHI IS ELABORATED IN THE SKANDA MAHAPURANA, AGASTYA SAMHITA, HALASYA MAHATMYAM. THE GREATNESS OF THE CITY OF MADURAI IS EXPLAINED IN DETAIL IN THE HALASYAMAHATMYEAM.

BY LISTENING/READING THE STORY OF DEVI MEENAKSHI, AND CONTEMPLATING ON THE HAPPENINGS OF HER LIFE, WE ARE RAISED TO THE SPACE AND GLORY IN WHICH DEVI MEENAKSHI HERSELF LIVED.

THE GANDHARVA KING NAMED VISHVAVASU HAD A DAUGHTER NAMED VIDYAVATI. VIDYAVATI FROM HER CHILDHOOD HAD GROWN UP TO BE A STAUNCH DEVOTEE OF DEVI PARASHAKTI. GIVING UP THE USE OF VARIOUS SCENTS SHE USED TO APPLY THE BHASMA, THE SACRED ASH. RATHER THAN WEARING GOLDEN ORNAMENTS LIKE A PRINCESS SHE WOULD WEAR RUDRAKSHA.

SHE WORSHIPPED DEVI PARASHAKTI WITH HER WHOLE HEART, DAY AND NIGHT CHANTING HER MULA MANTRA DWELLING IN HER GLORIES AND PRAISE. VIDYAVATI ASKS HER FATHER KING VISHVAVASU "I AM SO DEVOTED TO DEVI PARASHAKTI, WHERE CAN I SEE HER AND RECEIVE HER BLESSINGS PHYSICALLY?" KING VISHVAVASU ANSWERS,IN THE SACRED LAND OF SRI HAALAASYANATHA, SOMASUNDARESVARA . THERE IS THIS DEVI PARASHAKTI, WHO DOESN’T HAVE THE BEGINNING, NOR THE END. SHE IS THE COSMIC MOTHER HERSELF AND THE EMBODIEMENT OF THE SATCHITANANDA, THE PURE CONCIOUSNESS.

THE MOMENT YOU REMEMBER THIS DEVI MEENAKSHI, SHE REMOVES ALL THE BAD KARMA, ALL THE NEGATIVITIES, ALL THE SIN.
NOT ONLY REMOVING THE BAD KARMA AND THE NEGATIVITIES IN LIFE, SHE SHOWERS WITH IMMENSE PROSPERITY.
THAT DEVI PARASHAKTI IN MADURAI - SHE’S EXTREMELY COMPASSIONATE. SHE IS THE CONSORT (PATNI) OF SOMASUNDARESHWARA SWAMI HIMSELF, PARAMASHIVA.
TO SHOWER HER BLESSING ON ALL THE DEVOTEES, SHE MAKES HER PRESENCE INTENSELY AVAILABLE TO ALL THE DEVOTEES.

AFTER HAVING HEARD ABOUT OF THIS DEVI PARASHAKTI MEENAKSHI, WHOSE GRACING THE CITY OF MADURAI, HAAALASYANATHA SWAMI’S KSHETRA, VIDYAWATI, THE DAUGHTER OF THE GANDHARVA RAJA, VISHWAVASU, GOES TO THE KSHETRA OF MADURAI AND WORSHIPS THIS DEVI WHO IS DARK IN COMPLEXION, HAS 2 HANDS, HAS 2 EYES, WHO’S THE EMBODIMENT OF ALL THE AUSPICIOUSNESS.

SHE HOLDS THE FLOWER IN HER HAND, SHE’S ADORNED WITH THE RED COLOUR CLOTHES. SHE WEARS DIVINE GARLANDS.
VIDYAVATI, EVERYDAY WORSHIPS THAT DEVI MEENAKSHI IN THE HAALASYANATHA KSHETRA IN MADURAI.FOR 13 MONTHS, VIDYAVATI WORSHIPS DEVI MEENAKSHI IN MADURAI.

THAT DEVI PARASHAKTI, WHOSE DARK IN COMPLEXION WHO’S ADORNED WITH ALL THE JEWELS AND WHOS THE EMBODIMENT OF ALL THE AUSPICIOUSNESS WEARING THE YELLOW COLOUR CLOTHES, HAVING APPLIED THE SANDALWOOD PASTE ON HER BODY, THAT DEVI PARASHAKTI COMES OUT OF THE GARBHAGRIHA, SANCTUM SANCTORUM OF MEENAKSHI TEMPLE IN MADURAI ASKING FOR WHAT BOON DOES VIDYAVATI WANT THIS DEVI MEENAKSHI COMES OUT, HOW SHE COMES OUT, LET US FURTHER GO SEE.

THE VIDYAVATI STARTS OFFERING THE STOTRA TO THE DEVI.
SHE STARTS WORSHIPPING HER THROUGH VARIOUS HYMNS.
SHE CONTINUES TO EXTOL THIS DEVI MEENAKSHI WITH SO MANY HYMNS.
ALL THE 3 WORLDS, UNIVERSES, BHUVANANDA, BRAHMANDAS, HAPPENED JUST FROM THE FEET OF THE DEVI MEENAKSHI. TO THAT DEVI MEENAKSHI, I BOW DOWN.THUS SAID THIS, VIDYAVATI.

BECAUSE DEVI MEENAKSHI CAME IN THE FORM OF A SMALL GIRL, 3 YR OLD CHILD, VIDYAVATI TELLS HER, “O MOTHER, I DO NOT WANT ANYTHING ELSE OTHER THAN PURE DEVOTION AT YOUR FEET. WHAT ELSE IS THE PURPOSE OF HUMAN LIFE OTHER THAN TO OFFER DEVOTION, BHAKTI AT YOUR FEET. BUT DEVI MEENAKSHI IN THE FORM OF A SMALL CHILD, 3YR OLD CHILD INSISTED FURTHER MORE, TELLING ONCE AGAIN ASK A BOON, SHE SAYS HAVING HEARD THE WORDS OF DEVI MEENAKSHI FOR THE SECOND TIME, ONCE AGAIN ASKING VIDYAVATI TO ASK ONE MORE BOON.VIDYAVATI ASKS FOR THIS BOON.

O, MOTHER, I WANT TO HAVE YOU IN THIS SAME FORM AS MY OWN CHILD AND I WANT TO HUG YOU IN THIS VERY FORM AND I WANT TO BRING YOU UP IN THIS VERY FORM. AND AT THAT JANMA, THAT VERY BIRTH, LIBERATE ME FROM THIS BIRTH AND DEATH CYCLE AND GIVE ME MUKTI. THUS SHE PRAYED, VIDYAVATI. THE VIDYAVATI , HAVING ASKED THIS DEVI MEENAKSHI WHO IS EVER COMPASSIONATE AND ALL COMPASSIONATE BLESSED HER THUS.

SHE SAYS, IN YOUR NEXT JANMA, NEXT BIRTH, YOU’LL BE MARRYING MALAYADHWAJA PANDYA, WHO’S BORN IN THE CHANDRAVAMSHA.
DEVI MEENAKSHI ALSO SAID, YOU’LL BE MARRYING THE MALAYADWAJA PANDYA AND ALSO BOTH OF YOU WOULD BE DOING THE PUTRAKAMESHTI YAGNA, AND I MYSELF WOULD BE HAPPENING OUT OF THE YAGAA AND IN THAT INCARNATION, I’LL BE HAVING 3 BREASTS, THAT IS THE SYMBOL THAT I MYSELF AM BORN. HAVING BLESSED VIDYAVATI IN THIS WAY, MEENAKSHI DEVI WHO CAME IN THE FORM OF A VERY SMALL CHILD, 3 YR OLD GIRL, WENT BACK AND MERGED INTO THE MOOLA MURTI OF DEVI MEENAKSHI.

MALAYADWAJA PANDYA AND KANCHANAMALA, THIS KANCHANAMALA IS THE VERY VIDYAVATI WHO GOT THE BOON FROM DEVI PARASHAKTHI THAT DEVI PARASHAKTI HERSELF WILL BE BORN AS THE CHILD OF VIDYAVATI IN THE NEXT BIRTH. THIS KANCHANAMALA GETS MARRIED TO MALAYADHWAJA PANDIYA AND AT A LATER STAGE OF THEIR LIFE THEY DO THE PUTRAKAMESHTI YAGA OUT OF THE AGNI OF THE PUTRAKAMESTI YAAGAA DEVI PARASHAKTI HERSELF COMES OUT, LIKE HOW THE LALITA SAHASRANAMA SAYS; CHIDAGNI KUNDA SAMBHUTAA; FROM THE SACRED FIRE, DIRECTLY PARASHAKTI HAPPENS. THE YOUNG GIRL, DEVI PARASHAKTI HAVING A FULL MOON FACE, BRIGHT FACE, PLEASANT FACE AND HAVING A DARK HAIR AND DARK COMPLEXION AS A 3 YR OLD CHILD, THIS DEVI MEENAKSHI DIRECTLY EMERGES OUT OF THE SACRED FIRE.

THIS SMALL CHILD, DEVI MEENAKSHI WHO CAME OUT OF THE AGNI, HAD THREE BREASTS. ON SEEING THIS, MALAYADHWAJA PANDYA WAS WORRIED. BUT PARAMASHIVA CAME IN THE FORM OF AN ASHARIRI, A FORMLESS VOICE AND DECLARED THAT SHE'S A DIVINE CHILD AND WILL GROW THIS CHILD. PARAMASHIVA SAYS, IN THE FORMLESS VOICE THAT, THIS GIRL, TATATAKA, MEENAKSHI IN THE FORM OF THIS SMALL CHILD, NAMED TATATAKA, THIS CHILD, WHEN SHE MEETS HER HUSBAND, SHE'LL LOSE THE THIRD BREAST. DO NOT WORRY.

TATATAKA, DEVI MEENAKSHI IN THE FORM OF A SMALL CHILD, WAS THE ONLY HEIR, ONLY PROGENY, HENCE MALAYADHWAJA BROUGHT THAT CHILD UP LIKE A MALE, HE GAVE HER ALL THE VIDYAS, ALL THE EDUCATIONS AND ESPECIALLY SHE WAS TRAINED IN THE DHANUR VIDYA, SCIENCE OF ARCHERY. HAVING BROUGHT UP THIS DEVI MEENAKSHI IN THE FORM OF TATATAKA, MALAYADHWAJA PANDYA WAS SO FULFILLED THAT HIS LIFE WAS COMPLETELY BLESSED. MALAYADWAJA PANDYA FINALLY DECIDES TO CORONATE DEVI MEENAKSHI WHEN SHE COMES TO YOUTH, WHEN SHE BECOMES A BIGGER GIRL. MALAYADVAJA CORONATED DEVI MEENAKSHI, DID THE PATTABHISHEKAM TO DEVI MEENAKSHI AS THE QUEEN OF THE CITY OF MADURAI. AND HE LEFT THE BODY WITH DEEP FULFILLMENT.

THIS HAPPENING OF THE CORONATION CEREMONY, THE PATTABHISHEKAM OF DEVI MEENAKSHI, TATATAKA WILL NOW BE HAPPENING, HERE IN ADI KAILAASA NITHYANANDA PEETAM, SAN JOSE SARVAJNYA PEETAM, ICHHAPURAM SARVAJNYA PEETAM, AND SHYAMALAPEETHA SARVAJNYA PEETAM, MADURAI WITH THE GRACE AND THE BLESSING OF, NONE OTHER THAN THE INCARNATION OF DEVI MEENAKSHI PARASHAKTI HERSELF, HDH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM.
