A tall copper-clad flagstaff with ornamental bands rises under a blue sky strung with small coloured lights and pennants. A figure in an orange-red robe with long dark hair and rudraksha beads pulls a rope to hoist a white and red cloth flag up the pole. A small shrine-like niche with a seated deity murti garlanded with white flowers is at the base. Coconut palms frame the right side. A person in orange robes stands at the base on the right, pulling the rope that raises the flagstaff, while scattered orange and yellow petals fall through the air. The person is partially visible; no face is identifiable and no appearance-based candidate qualifies, so the a person field is none.2010-02-12Photograph looking upward at a tall, ornately carved wooden ceremonial pole or flagstaff with ringed segments and a decorative finial at its top, rising beside a richly carved wooden structure draped with white and red flower garlands and green leaves. A person in a saffron-orange garment with red and white beaded necklaces and bangles pulls on ropes at the base of the pole, while a palm tree and bright sky appear in the background under a corrugated roof edge. The scene suggests a festival procession or temple ritual setup.2015-02-23A tall copper flagstaff rises steeply against a pale blue sky, its top crowned with a decorated finial and a red-orange tassel. A man in orange robes and white-and-red flower garlands stands at the base, pulling an orange rope that runs up the pole, as he hoists the flag. Small orange petals or flower fragments drift through the air around the pole.
