Photograph taken from a low angle of a tall, ornately carved wooden flagstaff with a dark brown ringed shaft and a decorated base on a red-orange plinth. A single person in orange-red robes and a wooden bead mala stands on the plinth, raising a long orange rope with both arms toward the top, where a red and white flag with an emblem is being hoisted. Coconut palms and a partly cloudy blue sky form the background.

A standing figure in an orange-red robe and an orange-red shawl, wearing a beaded mala with a large gold pendant, pulls an orange rope that runs up the pole toward a small red flag at the top, an action consistent with raising the flag. Coconut palm fronds and sunlight fill the background.2010-10-18 +1 copiesA tall copper flagpole decorated with yellow and orange marigold garlands and dark floral garlands stands on a stone base beneath a metal roof, rising against a clear blue sky with palm fronds behind. A red and white flag is being hoisted on a rope. Two people in orange ochre robes are present: one at the rope pulling the flag upward, with a rudraksha-style mala visible, and another standing at the right edge, wearing an orange robe with a golden border and garlands. Their faces are not clearly visible, and the a person candidate is unsure. A carved relief panel with a tree motif appears on the base of the pole.2011-03-05July 08 20092009-07-08November 06 20102010-11-06
