A long-haired man in a white dhoti and white shawl stands on a dark tiled floor, holding a small lamp or incense vessel from which smoke rises as he offers it. Beside him a man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha-style garland holds a plate of offerings, and another man in white with a sacred thread stands at the right edge. Behind them a white arched shrine frame is decorated with red flowers and a kalasha-like arrangement of red offerings on a raised platform. Light from the trees and ground patterns of white kolam designs complete the scene.2010-12-21
