Two young men sit on a white tarpaulin outdoors on reddish earth, working on a wooden chariot part. The man on the left, in a checked shirt and red lungi, holds a hammer and drives a metal chisel into a wooden strip. The man on the right, in a white shirt and green-grey lungi with a gold border, steadies the wood with both hands. A tape measure, chisels, a mallet and wood shavings lie on the cloth.
