A man in a white-and-blue striped shirt and dark trousers bends low to touch a red cushion strewn with pink, yellow and white petals on a patterned red carpet. Behind him a golden throne-like seat is draped with a long garland of white flowers, pink lotus blossoms and red-and-white beads, and an elderly seated figure in saffron-orange robes is partly visible. A person in white stands at the right edge. The gesture suggests reverent padapuja at the throne.
