A construction site photograph showing a row of large, unfinished clay or mud-coated cylindrical forms lying end to end along the top of a concrete ledge or wall. Each form has a circular recessed end with a small central disc, resembling moulded pillar or pipe-like sections. Behind them are piles of reddish-brown earth, scattered rubble, a white car, a white truck, a black water tank and a potted plant. No people are visible. The scene is an outdoor work area with bare soil and a concrete edge in the foreground.2013-06-23June 23 20132013-06-23Five clay or earthen cylindrical vessels with open tops are set in a row in reddish-brown soil. Each has a small central opening and a weathered, chalky-grey surface with white and orange patches. Loose soil and small stones surround their bases. No people or deities are visible; the arrangement appears to be ritual earthenware such as kalasha or lamp-like pots set into the ground.2013-07-29Outdoors on bare red earth, two large clay sculptural forms rest on wooden planks supported by concrete blocks. Each form is a rough, unfinished clay model of a body part, with textured surface and cracks. Behind them stand two large grey-brown cylindrical clay or concrete pots, green shrubs grow at the back, and a blue tarpaulin and cloth lie on the ground at left. No people are visible. The image is a photograph taken at a sculpture-making site.2006-12-10Five weathered clay pots or vessels, partly coated with grey and white residue, stand in a row embedded in reddish-brown earth and brick on the ground. Small pebbles and soil surround them, and a person's fingers are visible at the lower right edge. No people are seated or performing rites in the frame, and no a person candidate is visible.2013-07-29June 19 20142014-06-19A dug-out excavation trench in reddish-brown earth with exposed roots and a cut bank. Several rough-hewn grey stone slabs and blocks lie at the bottom, beside a flat concrete base or floor slab and a thin white pipe. A concrete walkway runs along the right edge in dappled sunlight. No people or a person candidate are visible; the scene shows construction or foundation groundwork.2014-11-23A photograph of an outdoor construction area with raw clay moulds. Several large mud-coated clay forms, shaped like hollow domes or cups with openings, sit on a low concrete plinth and wooden boards. Behind them is a rectangular concrete foundation with a shallow water-filled channel. Scattered cloth, a plastic sheet and a small patch of purple flowers lie on the ground, with red earth and sparse weeds around. No people are visible in the scene.2006-12-10Outdoor photograph of reddish-brown earth with two freshly poured grey concrete slabs set into shallow excavated trenches, their edges lined with old newspaper pages that serve as formwork. A thin wooden stake or rod runs diagonally across the upper left. Partial newspaper scraps and a leftover concrete edge appear in the lower corners. No people or ritual activity are visible; the scene looks like ground preparation or foundation work at a construction site.2011-09-20Outdoor construction site on red-brown earth with a large row of grey concrete seats or bases laid out in rows across the foreground. A woman in a bright orange sari and blouse stands at the edge of the site, near a white vehicle, and two men in white shirts and white dhotis stand beside her, one holding a stick or staff. Bamboo scaffolding frames and thatched shelters rise in the background, with a pile of cut branches or straw and palm trees beyond. A small shrine-like structure sits at the back of the site.2008-04-06A photograph of an outdoor construction site with excavated red-brown earth and several concrete foundation blocks or pillars rising from pits. Protruding rebar rods stand on the left-hand block. Stacked grey concrete blocks, loose rubble and a heap of reddish soil lie in the background, with a row of tall coconut palms and dense green trees behind under an overcast sky. No people are visible. +1 copiesDecember 05 20112011-12-05
