A photograph of a group of men gathered outdoors on a dirt ground beside thatched huts and palm trees, looking down at broken carved stone and terracotta fragments on the ground, including a large carved pillar-like piece and a stone head. A bald man in a white dhoti and white shawl, with glasses, extends his arm and points toward the fragments while speaking. Around him are men in orange and saffron robes, one in a green shawl and a few in pink-orange wraps. A long-haired man in orange robes wearing a rudraksha mala and a gold necklace stands at the centre-right, and another man in orange with a gold necklace stands beside him. Several men in white dhotis and white shirts work a large, glowing clay crucible on a metal stand, using long iron tongs, while a flame rises from beneath it. A bright red flower garland lies on the ground near a stone yagna-style object, and a garland of orange and yellow marigolds hangs along the left edge. Women in orange and saffron saris and white garments stand with hands folded, some wearing rudraksha malas. A man in white at right holds a camera.
