A flooded riverbank with fast brown water, where several men and boys stand waist-deep, gripping a metal chain fixed to a dark iron post. A man in an orange-yellow shirt and orange shorts leans forward, holding a child's hand, while a bare-chested boy and a man in a plaid shirt help hold the chain. Rain falls over the river, with ghats, multi-storey buildings and a hillside behind the shore.
