A large procession of devotees walks along a dirt path between palm trees and scrub, with a low hill behind. In the foreground, a woman in a yellow sari and a woman in a dark green sari walk near the front, and a group of men and boys in white shirts and white dhotis carry a striped parasol-like umbrella in red, yellow and blue. Several women carry brass pots and bundles of green leaves on their heads, and one woman in a pink-and-white sari leads near the centre. A tall blue banner with a white panel shows a portrait labelled "Dhyanapeetam" and "பெரியசீரகாபாடி" held above the crowd. Yellow and orange ceremonial flags flank the left edge. The scene resembles a ritual procession moving through a rural village.2006-11-13Outdoor street procession in a rural village lined with palm trees. A large banner reading Dhyanapeetam in English and Tamil shows a portrait of a figure with a white head wrap and white garment, labelled as a portrait for Peeriyaseeragapadi Dhyanapeetam. Beneath the banner, a framed small portrait is set on a bamboo stand. Crowds in white shirts, many printed with Dhyanapeetam, walk alongside band musicians in orange and navy uniforms playing brass instruments and drums. Ceremonial items include an orange-and-red decorated umbrella and a tall ornate staff with a finial, plus a colourful parasol. Women in saris, including one in pink and one in red, and children are in the crowd, with a toddler in orange carried on a hip.2006-11-13July 10 20092009-07-10April 06 20122012-04-06December 29 20102010-12-29September 14 20062006-09-14Outdoor photo of a large crowd seated and standing before a row of coconut palms under a blue sky with clouds. Most men wear white shirts and white dhotis, while women wear sarees in turquoise, red, purple and yellow. Some men wear rudraksha malas and one bald elderly man sits at the lower right. A blue banner on a pole reads Dhyanapeetam and shows a portrait of a figure in a white turban and ochre-toned robe, which is a depiction on a banner rather than a physical person. No candidate for a person is physically visible among the people present, so the figure on the banner is treated as a depiction with uncertain identity.2006-11-13July 27 20082008-07-27Outdoor photograph at a rural compound with palm trees and a thatched shelter on the right. A group of about a dozen people stands on bare earth in front of a silver-grey SUV with a roof rack and a white Dhyanapeetam logo on its rear window. A young girl in white and a boy in a striped shirt are visible at right. Several people stand with hands folded or arms crossed, facing a ritual area off-frame at lower left.2006-10-21July 10 20092009-07-10January 01 20092009-01-01Outdoor street scene at a roadside inauguration arch made of thatch, palm fronds and hanging fruit bunches, with bunting strung across it.
