Outdoor street scene at a roadside inauguration arch made of thatch, palm fronds and hanging fruit bunches, with bunting strung across it. A large banner on the left shows a smiling figure in an orange turban and saffron robe, captioned as a portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda", with the event details beneath. A group of people stands along the road in white and coloured saris and dhotis, with children in front, while a man in a white dhoti and shirt stands at a decorated table with flower garlands and a tray of offerings near the arch. Tables with white cloths and banana-leaf or flower arrangements line the background, with a small orange flag at left and palm trees behind.
