In the foreground, a woman in a yellow sari and a woman in a dark green sari walk near the front, and a group of men and boys in white shirts and white dhotis carry a striped parasol-like umbrella in red, yellow and blue. Several women carry brass pots and bundles of green leaves on their heads, and one woman in a pink-and-white sari leads near the centre. A tall blue banner with a white panel shows a portrait labelled "Dhyanapeetam" and "பெரியசீரகாபாடி" held above the crowd. Yellow and orange ceremonial flags flank the left edge.
