A photograph of an outdoor temple-style deepam ritual under a corrugated metal roof at dusk. In the foreground a person with a dark cap and rudraksha mala sits with their back to the camera, holding a lit oil lamp in one hand toward a large bronze lamp. Behind, a tall brass and gold kalasha-like column rises from a stepped platform. A large oil lamp with a big flame sits on a draped table decorated with red and white garland strands. Two other figures in orange or saffron clothing are partly visible at the left edge, and several long brass horns or trumpets are held upright at left. The scene looks like a Karthigai Deepam lamp offering.
