On a decorated raft, a golden deity murti with a red and gold face sits beneath a multicoloured umbrella and garlands of marigolds, purple and green beads. Beside it, a framed portrait of a seated man in orange robes and a beaded necklace is garlanded with yellow flowers and set on a red cushion. A white-robed priest with a yellow shawl stands at the right holding ritual items, and another man stands beneath a yellow fringed umbrella above. Several people in white dhotis stand waist-deep in the water around the raft, including a woman in white with a long braid and a girl in pink. Banana leaves and a brass vessel decorate the platform.
