Outdoor photograph of a ceremonial puja on a floating platform in a water tank with red-tiered steps. The platform is decorated with marigold and multicolour flower garlands, banana leaves and a gold canopy with orange fringe. A gilded deity murti sits at centre with a small brass lamp and kalasha in front. Beside it stands a framed portrait of a bearded man in orange robes garlanded with yellow flowers; this is a printed portrait, not a physical person. Several people in white clothes stand waist-deep in the water: a woman with a long braid holding her hands up, a shaved-headed man in white dhoti with a gold-and-beaded necklace raising a hand near the platform, and other devotees wading nearby. A man in white stands at the right edge with palms joined. A black stepped structure stands behind.
