A large banyan tree with a dense canopy of spreading branches and many hanging aerial roots forms the main subject of this outdoor photo. Beneath it, a stone platform is set around the trunk, with white posts standing at the edges. On the right, a man in white clothing stands near the trunk, and at lower right a person in white sits on the steps beside a woman in a dark top and red garment. Another person in white stands at the left edge. The scene suggests a quiet ashram grounds setting with devotees gathered under the tree.
