December 31 20092009-12-31February 03 20092009-02-03A seated man in an orange saffron shawl and white garland sits on a white cushioned seat on a blue-carpeted stage, his hands resting on the head of a kneeling devotee in white shirt and white dhoti. The kneeling devotee bows forward with hands at the seated man's feet area, scattered flower petals and confetti on the carpet. Behind them, standing people in white garments and orange clothing wear jasmine and marigold garlands, a girl in a white and green outfit stands near them, and a blue backdrop hangs behind. The scene appears to show a blessing or darshan at a spiritual gathering, with the seated man's bare shoulder and dark hair visible. A devotee-like appearance with distinctive saffron shawl and garlands supports a probable identification as a person, though the appearance is only partly visible.2005-12-11January 28 20092009-01-28A photograph of a long-haired man in an orange-saffron robe and a white jasmine garland with yellow flowers, bare-shouldered, sitting on the floor and placing his right palm on the forehead of a seated devotee. The devotee wears a red-and-white checked shirt and holds a small white card or paper in his hand. Behind them a red-painted wall, a metal table, and a green-and-white electric fan are visible through a window.2006-12-10October 29 20062006-10-29September 21 20102010-09-21A long-haired man in an orange saffron garment with a maroon border stands at the centre, extending his right hand to touch the head of a devotee bowed in front of him. He wears a rudraksha mala, a gold pendant on a red cord, ornate gold necklaces and a gold armlet. Around him, several men in white shirts and dhotis stand with hands joined in anjali or bowed in devotion, and a man in white holds a silver tray near the right edge. Colourful striped and yellow-orange hangings decorate the hall, and a projection screen is visible at the top. Swamiji (probable) is shown in the centre, identified by long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha mala and ceremonial gold ornaments, giving blessings to the devotee.2011-02-11A long-haired man in an orange robe with a red stripe and a rudraksha mala stands on the right, his right hand resting on the head of a young man in a pink shirt who bows forward. Beside him, a seated man in white holds a small card, and another man in orange sits with a phone to his ear. Behind them, a white-draped table holds a tray of offerings and a kalasha-like vessel, with a standing person in orange and a person in red in the background.2008-03-23Outdoor photo at a dirt-ground compound beside a red-painted wall with a white patterned border. A long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes, with a rudraksha mala and ceremonial beaded necklace, sits on a blue plastic chair with one bare foot raised. A man in an off-white striped shirt kneels and bows his head toward the seated figure's foot. Standing behind, a man in white kurta and dhoti watches, and people in orange and red saris stand at left, with orange-robed attendants at right. Rubber sandals sit by the wall and a black water drum stands nearby. The seated figure's identity cannot be confirmed from appearance, so only the role of a seated figure receiving a foot-reverence is described.2008-10-08December 05 20112011-12-05 +1 copiesOutdoor photo under a corrugated tin shelter on bare grass near rocky hills. A long-haired man in an orange saffron cloth with a white flower garland sits centrally, with a man in white shirt and dhoti standing beside him. Several men in white shirts and dhotis stand or kneel around; one kneeling man in a white shirt bends forward with his head pressed to the cloth before the seated figure. A man in orange cloth sits at lower left with a red plastic basket and water bottle nearby. Flower offerings sit on a blue cloth at right, and a white-draped pole stands in the foreground.2008-11-11
