September 21 20102010-09-21A photograph of a saffron-robed man with a rudraksha mala headband, gold necklace of beads, and red-and-white flower garlands, smiling as he extends his right hand in blessing toward a man in a white shirt whose head is lowered. Behind them stand several men, some with shaved heads and white tilak marks, others with red and white forehead marks. The setting is a warm yellow-walled hall. The saffron-robed central figure has long swept-back hair, a rudraksha crown, saffron clothing and ceremonial gold necklaces, consistent with the page's Swamiji reference: Swamiji (probable), giving blessing to a devotee.2012-05-10A photograph of a public darshan line at an open-sided hall with a corrugated roof. A man with long swept-back dark hair, white vibhuti tripundra on his forehead, rudraksha malas and a saffron-orange sleeveless garment is smiling broadly and placing his right hand on the head of a boy in a green-and-white striped shirt who leans forward. Another devotee in a white shirt stands at left with hands extended, and other people in the crowd are behind a metal railing. Probable Swamiji (long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha malas) is blessing devotees in a darshan line. Several other people in white and light shirts are visible along the railing.2010-09-20June 23 20122012-06-23 +3 copiesIndoor ashram gathering. A man in an orange-red saffron wrap with a gold-bead rudraksha mala and gold chain, long swept-back dark hair and a red bindi, raises one hand in blessing while smiling; the figure is an appearance-based probable Swamiji candidate. Around him, devotees in white shirts and white dhotis press palms together or bow, one man with a tilak looks down with hands folded. A man in white with gold beaded necklace stands at right beside a table with offerings. Cream walls, a projection screen and a blue curtain are in the background.2010-12-28A photograph of a person in an orange-saffron garment with long dark swept-back hair, wearing red and orange marigold garlands and a heavy gold-bead necklace, placing a hand on the forehead of a devotee during a blessing. Several men lean in with bowed heads, one holding a small white box, and a young boy in a red shirt stands with hands joined. The hall has a projection screen, a red wall with framed images, and other people in white in the background.2011-06-05May 31 20132013-05-31 +1 copiesJuly 06 20132013-07-06A photograph of an indoor event hall where a man in a saffron-orange robe with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and layered rudraksha-style beaded necklaces extends his right hand in blessing toward a line of devotees. The devotees, mostly men in casual shirts, grey sweaters and white kurta-style clothing, stand with palms pressed together and heads lowered. Behind them is a large framed portrait backdrop of a bearded figure with golden decorations, a projection screen and warm stage lighting. The appearance-based label a person applies to the orange-robed man giving blessing, with his cues being the long swept-back hair, saffron robe and ornate beaded necklaces; he is the one bestowing blessing on the devotees.2011-11-06A seated figure with long dark hair swept back, wearing a rust-orange wrap, a red and white flower garland, gold-toned bangles and a gold necklace, places his right hand on the forehead of a standing man in a white kurta with a rust-orange shawl. The seated figure appears to be a person, giving a blessing. Behind them, women in orange and saffron saris with rudraksha malas watch, and a woman in a red bindi smiles at right. Walls are pale and a window with a white air-conditioning unit is visible.2013-05-28January 08 20122012-01-08November 09 20112011-11-09
