Indoor event hall with a green carpet and white-clad men seated and standing around. Centre right, a woman with long dark hair and a white floral garland wears orange and holds a long wooden stick, touching or addressing a seated young man in a white shirt and checked lungi who has his hands pressed to his face. Beside him, a young man in an orange robe sits near a brass plate of offerings. Men in white shirts and dhotis stand with folded hands. To the right, an ornate gold-and-red throne is decorated with garlands of white, orange and red flowers, and a man in a red kurta stands near it. A floral backdrop and a red cloth complete the setting.2009-01-28January 28 20092009-01-28February 03 20092009-02-03A seated man in an orange saffron shawl and white garland sits on a white cushioned seat on a blue-carpeted stage, his hands resting on the head of a kneeling devotee in white shirt and white dhoti. The kneeling devotee bows forward with hands at the seated man's feet area, scattered flower petals and confetti on the carpet. Behind them, standing people in white garments and orange clothing wear jasmine and marigold garlands, a girl in a white and green outfit stands near them, and a blue backdrop hangs behind. The scene appears to show a blessing or darshan at a spiritual gathering, with the seated man's bare shoulder and dark hair visible. A devotee-like appearance with distinctive saffron shawl and garlands supports a probable identification as a person, though the appearance is only partly visible.2005-12-11A photograph of a Navaratri celebration at a temple-like hall with a decorated altar on the left and a large framed portrait behind a seated figure. A seated person with long dark hair, wearing a red and orange garment with floral garlands, raises a hand in blessing toward devotees. Several men kneel or bow before the seated figure, including a man in a white kurta and a man in a purple checked shirt with a name badge, while a boy in a yellow and red shirt bends forward near a golden throne with red cushions and flower garlands. A devotee in a white shirt stands at left, and women in the foreground are visible at right. Portrait text reads Paramahamsa Nithyananda Paramashivam.2008-10-07September 21 20102010-09-21August 09 20092009-08-09A photograph of a blessing at an indoor event with red drapes and a floral backdrop. A bare-chested man in a saffron wrap and red top, seated on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, raises his hand to touch the forehead of a bowed older man in a white shirt. Nearby, a young man in an orange shawl and white kurta stands beside a priest in white, and a woman in green and a small child in a floral dress look on. Several others crowd behind. Page cues do not confirm the seated man's identity, so the appearance-based identity remains unsure. Garlands and flower arrangements decorate the stage.2009-02-21February 24 20072007-02-24Indoor photo in a plain white-walled room with a blue and red striped mat on the floor. A figure in saffron-orange robes, with long dark hair and a white and red floral garland around the neck, is seated on a blue-framed chair draped in white cloth, and places a hand on the head of a man in white kneeling before them in respect. Around them, a crowd of men in white kurta-style clothes, several wearing rudraksha malas, sit or kneel on the floor and watch, while one man in white holds a paper. A small table with fruit and a white cloth is visible at left, and a person in orange sits near the left edge. The kneeling man is being blessed. The appearance is a probable match for a person (long swept-back hair, saffron robes, garland, rudraksha malas as visible cues), presented in the scene as the seated figure giving blessings.2009-01-25A photograph inside a hall with banners and a ceiling fan. A central figure sits cross-legged in an orange-saffron robe and rudraksha-style beaded necklaces, with long dark hair swept back, raising one hand in blessing toward a devotee. A woman in a cream sari bows with her head lowered toward his lap, where orange cloth holds stacks of banknotes, an offering known as biksha. Around them, men and women in white and orange clothing stand and kneel. He is receiving an offering of money from devotees during a gathering.2008-07-17February 15 20092009-02-15
