A bare-chested man with long dreadlocked hair, rudraksha malas, a gold necklace and white vibhuti marks on his arms and forehead wears a white dhoti with gold border and holds a large woven gold-yellow basket. Beside him an attendant in orange robes and an orange turban, also with rudraksha malas and white markings, helps lift the basket. Strings of red, yellow and white flower garlands hang from a chain-suspended frame behind them, with gold cloth bundles below and a red curtain and deity murti in the background. The scene suggests a traditional offering or weighing ritual.2017-08-15July 19 20162016-07-19March 15 20202020-03-15 +2 copiesMay 18 20192019-05-18July 19 20162016-07-19Close photograph of a ritual offering being prepared. A hand with a beaded bracelet and silver bangles, belonging to a person whose bare arm and shoulder wear a gold-bordered orange-red cloth and a gold chain, adjusts a decorative kalasha-like pot wrapped with strands of white jasmine and red and yellow marigold garlands. Dried grass stalks and a tied bundle are tucked among the flowers. Beside it, a gilded ornamental frame and deep red and orange drapery frame the scene, with a striped coloured floor mat in the background.2015-10-18April 06 20172017-04-06July 08 20172017-07-08 +1 copies
