A man in a rust-orange dhoti with gold border and a long rudraksha mala stands at the centre, hands gesturing toward the fire, a bindi on his forehead. To the right a shaved-headed attendant in orange cloth and rudraksha beads holds a small white dish. On the left a woman in white dhoti with gold border stands with palms joined in prayer. Devotees in white and red shawls watch behind. The centre man has long swept-back hair, a rudraksha mala, and saffron clothing consistent with the page's reference to a person, but the appearance is uncertain. Several people visible.2013-07-13May 30 20182018-05-30July 06 20152015-07-06September 30 20132013-09-30January 01 20042004-01-01May 30 20182018-05-30Outdoor homa at a covered open-air pavilion with a tiled roof and palm trees behind. In the foreground a square, tiered yellow-ochre fire pit with white line and star patterns holds a lively flame. Beside it a silver bowl, brass vessels and offering baskets sit on a cloth, with a white and green flower garland and banana leaves. Several men stand around in white dhotis and orange or saffron cloths, including a bare-chested man in white dhoti at left, a man in orange cloth reading from a sheet at centre-right, and a standing man in orange with a rudraksha mala and a bare-chested man in a white dhoti on the right. Other devotees in orange and white stand or sit behind them, and a small child in white stands near the centre.2016-09-05Outdoor homa ritual in an ashram courtyard. A fire burns in a raised rectangular yellow-painted fire pit at left, with small brass pots, bowls of offerings and yellow flowers arranged along its edge. A young priest at right wears a pink turban, white dhoti and shawl, rudraksha mala and sandalwood-marked arms, holding a spoon and a small metal vessel. Behind him, a seated priest in white and a row of children and young adults in orange and maroon robes sit on mats. A camera on a tripod records the scene, and a red shrine with a Shiva lingam and yellow garlands stands to the right. Around 20 people are visible.2014-10-03A photograph of an outdoor homa ceremony with a large fire burning in a square yellow-draped fire pit, surrounded by marigold garlands and flower petals. On the right, a seated man on a red cushioned throne under a gold-and-flower decorated canopy wears a white shawl, garland and dark head covering; the appearance is not clearly distinctive enough to confirm identity, so he is described as a seated figure. Behind him stand a group of young saffron-robed children and adults in orange turbans and saffron robes, with several people in white. On the left, a priest in orange robes and orange turban, garlanded, tends the fire. Striped multicoloured mats cover the ground and brass ritual vessels sit near the pit.2017-08-25
