A photograph of a row of seated men in white dhotis with gold borders and orange-red shawls during a devotional gathering. The man second from left has his palms pressed together in prayer and wears a large gold-bead mala; the man in the centre holds an open notebook and wears a red rudraksha mala and glasses; the man on the right wears an orange shawl and rudraksha beads with sacred ash on his forehead. Red curtains and a stage form the backdrop. No candidate for a person is visibly identifiable from appearance, so their roles are described as devotees and participants.2017-08-11November 13 20122012-11-13Photo 11702377 +1 copiesFour men sit in a row with palms pressed together in namaskar and eyes closed, in a devotional gathering. The foreground man on the left is bald, wears thin round glasses and a rudraksha mala, and is wrapped in white cloth with maroon borders. The next man has white tripundra markings on his forehead and arms and wears white cloth. Two younger men further right also wear white garments with maroon edging and fold their hands. At the right edge, a figure in saffron-orange robes sits partly visible. Bronze and brass vessels sit in the lower foreground near bare feet.2011-09-25September 10 20112011-09-10Photo 11733693 +3 copiesJanuary 21 20132013-01-21 +1 copiesFive shaved-headed men in white dhotis with gold borders sit on stone steps beside water, their feet in the pool. The man on the far left holds a thread or cord over the water. Faded red-painted steps and a chain-link fence sit behind them, with scattered flower petals on the steps.2015-11-16September 06 20102010-09-06August 06 20112011-08-06October 15 20102010-10-15May 08 20132013-05-08
