Many men in white kurtas and dhotis sit cross-legged on white floor mats, most wearing rudraksha malas and some with yellow shawls draped over their shoulders. Several have tilak marks on their foreheads. A man in the foreground wears a white kurta with a rudraksha mala and a yellow-gold dhoti border, smiling and seated near a man in saffron-pink cloth. Others wear white headphones or hold notebooks and pens. Women in colourful saris sit further back among the crowd.2010-09-18A candid photo of a seated group of shaved-headed men in white ritual clothes at a satsang gathering. Several have white vertical tilaka marks on their foreheads and red bindis; one wears a rudraksha mala and dark-rimmed glasses. A man in a black t-shirt sits at left, and a man in a blue-and-white striped shirt is partly visible behind. Several smile. A woman's satsang-style seating mat is visible below. No figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance alone, so the central smiling man in white with a black mala is described by role only as a devotee at the satsang.2010-09-20A photograph of a large seated congregation of shaven-headed men dressed in white kurtas and dhotis at a satsang session. Many wear yellow shawls draped over their shoulders. In the foreground a bespectacled man sits cross-legged with palms pressed together in namaste, wearing a rudraksha mala. To the left, a man wears an orange-red shawl over white. To the right, a man with white tilak markings on his forehead wears a brown bead mala. Plastic water bottles and a small red book sit on the floor nearby. The surrounding crowd sits closely packed in rows.2010-09-16Photograph of a row of seated devotees performing a puja on a polished floor. In the foreground, a shaved-headed man in white dhoti with red-bordered cloth and a white tilak sits with palms pressed together in prayer. Beside him, another man with a white tilak wears a white dhoti with red border. Further back, men in saffron-orange robes sit cross-legged, and others in white sit behind brass plates, kumkum, flowers, and small brass lamps arranged on mats. Brass vessels, a plate of red powder, and a blue container are visible in front of them.2011-08-10 +1 copiesSeptember 09 20122012-09-09January 25 20152015-01-25November 16 20152015-11-16
