Night procession photograph of a deity murti being carried on an ornate golden palanquin with a green silk drape and red-and-gold cloth draped beneath. The deity wears a red crown and a white flower garland. Two young men in the foreground carry the palanquin: one in a green shirt on the left, and one in a dark blue shirt seated near the center with head bowed. Bright floodlights illuminate the scene against a dark background.

A pink silk cloth hangs behind it beside an ornate gold-toned canopy. At far left, another person in orange robes stands beside a brass tray of flowers. A priest in an orange-red dhoti stands on the left, raising a long ceremonial fan or umbrella-like object over a figure seated in an ornate palanquin-style conveyance. The seated figure wears an orange-gold garment, a gold crown or headdress, and is heavily garlanded with red and white flowers; the seated figure appears to be a deity murti or decorated image rather than a living person. Pink and magenta drapes frame the palanquin. A second orange-clad attendant stands behind at left, and the temple pillars and lit arches are visible in the background.2012-04-30October 09 20062006-10-09November 22 20102010-11-22
