A priest in a green garment with gold trim and a white flower garland performs aarti before a large deity murti draped in red fabric and heavily adorned with red and white flower garlands, green leaf garlands and gold jewelry. He holds a brass lamp with a flame toward the figure, while a gold ornate throne-like structure stands behind it. A plain temple interior with a red-painted wall forms the background. Only one physical person is visible, and no one resembling a person is present in the scene.A photograph of a temple procession at night. A priest in an orange-red dhoti stands on the left, raising a long ceremonial fan or umbrella-like object over a figure seated in an ornate palanquin-style conveyance. The seated figure wears an orange-gold garment, a gold crown or headdress, and is heavily garlanded with red and white flowers; the seated figure appears to be a deity murti or decorated image rather than a living person. Pink and magenta drapes frame the palanquin. A second orange-clad attendant stands behind at left, and the temple pillars and lit arches are visible in the background.2012-04-30December 12 20112011-12-12A photograph of a priest in saffron-orange robes with a matching orange head wrap performing a ritual before a deity murti. The priest stands at left, reaching up with both hands to adorn the murti, which wears a large crown and is draped with layered garlands of white, red, yellow and green flowers. Bright flower petals and a red and gold cloth lie at the base, and a gilded arch frames the shrine. The scene reads as a puja or abhishekam at a home shrine.2008-05-03November 06 20112011-11-06 +1 copiesJune 05 20122012-06-05 +1 copiesNovember 02 20102010-11-02 +1 copiesApril 30 20122012-04-30 +2 copiesA man in an orange saffron shawl and white vibhuti forehead marks reaches across to a large deity murti decorated with a gold crown, gold ornaments, and garlands of white flowers and red-orange-yellow marigolds with green leaves.
