The murtis are draped in red and gold cloth, with a brass oil lamp in the foreground. To the right, a small figure in orange robes with a bare head sits before the golden shrine, hands folded. Gold-toned pillars and carved stone walls frame the sanctum.2010-11-12November 05 20102010-11-05June 05 20122012-06-052011 - Photo AlbumA photograph of a priest in saffron-orange robes with a matching orange head wrap performing a ritual before a deity murti. The priest stands at left, reaching up with both hands to adorn the murti, which wears a large crown and is draped with layered garlands of white, red, yellow and green flowers. Bright flower petals and a red and gold cloth lie at the base, and a gilded arch frames the shrine. The scene reads as a puja or abhishekam at a home shrine.2008-05-03
